  • This pattern is quite popular for a textured tote. It's generously oversized to haul your yarn projects with you. Also great multi-purpose bag. Using Caron Cotton Cakes, the colouring of this yarn makes for great summer usage bags as well.
    You can decide to line your bags as well to ensure nothing falls out. I've been seeing more crocheters using this bag than others at this time.

    Asking a tight-stitch crocheter to crochet into the back of a single chain should be considered a form of torture, haha! Love the bag though

    I’m constantly looking for items and projects that my family would like. I have afghan-ed them to death plus I live in Florida, which is not really the Land of the Afghan!! Scarves and hats are totally a waste of time! But this bag would be very wanted! And I love the Caron Cotton Cakes. So easy to work with! Very good pattern and your vids are always spot-on! Thanks Mikey!

    I have 2 skeins of this exact color that i had planned on making into a bag. I think I'm going to see how big it gets with 2 and maybe make different handles if I can't get another skein. Thank you for making this video. Its just easier to follow along

    Tried to make this bag for a friend but it came out way too wide to give to her. Took it all apart and readjusted the initial starting chain to be 30 and not 55. I followed the rest of the directions accordingly and it turned out great!

    Thank you for this video Mikey - I'm struggling on it thou, once I complete the bottom, shouldn't the side start coming up instead of seemingly making the bottom look bigger?? I've frogged this twice and my count is correct, just can't figure out what I could be doing wrong.

      I don't think so for this bag.

    • @jenniferjohnston4300
      @jenniferjohnston4300 10 месяцев назад

      My thoughts exactly. From round 1 to 2 in the main section, I went from 130 to 128. Is this right? The only option I can see is to add the other 2 on either side of the chain 2.

    • @jenniferjohnston4300
      @jenniferjohnston4300 10 месяцев назад

      Make that 129. I realized I missed the last space because there were 2 in the row below.

  • @crazybooklady2104
    @crazybooklady2104 6 лет назад

    When going in between the spaces, do you have to do two hdc in the corners or no?

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  6 лет назад +3

      Technically, it will look like two in one spot but the Ch 2 doesn't count as anything. So you have to visually ignore it to make it work.
