Trainee dental nurse here!! And the sheet you had put over your mouth is called a rubber dam and it literally just helps to keep the area dry so that the saliva doesn’t get in it as the dryer the site the better it bonds! :) x

I'm a dental nurse, you can whiten your teeth after composite bonding but it won't whiten the bonding bits as they are artifical, so your own teeth would need to be the shade you want before you go ahead with the procedure. X

This is so me. I’ve had braces twice and was never happy with my teeth they were not straight at the bottom just like yours. I’ve been to see my dentist and made a plan for composite bonding I can’t wait for too see my results.

They look way better, good on you. I'm thinking about getting them and I'm having family tell me 'no you shouldn't your teeth look look fine they have character etc'. They said the same before I got Invisalign and I put it off for years, finally now coming to the end of my treatment and im so glad I did it, sometimes you just got to trust yourself and block out other peoples opinions even your family members sadly 😅

Can you eat as normal, i.e can you iye down on things? I know that's a weird question, but I chipped my front teeth 6 years ago and when I went to the dentist they built my teeth up instead of giving me crowns which means I can't bite down on certain things such as apples and corn on the cob and I thought it sounded similar so I wondered if you couldn't bite down either.

Also I thought the whole thing of bonding was so u don't have to do retainers which comes after getting braces removed? So even with this bonding u will need a retainer aka tray ? I'm confused

I think it’s about how you feel inside that matters and nothing else! You know yourself how much something affects you and I’m the same with my teeth! I’m having work done currently and it’s hella expensive but seeing the end result is so so worth it to feel more confident and comfortable in your smile. At the end of the day your teeth have to last you till you are old gotta look after them 😂😂

teeth are expensive eh? 😂 I had to have a whole dental bridge fitted (9 teeth) and it cost me around 2000€ (obviously it's less expensive than in the UK but I'm not getting into the economics of countries hahah)

As someone who had braces for years and still has naturally uneven teeth I totally get you. Even though (to be completely honest) I sometimes felt less insecure bc of my teeth when I thought about you and how stunning you look no matter how your teeth look like. Not meant in a mean way or anything I hope that doesn't come off in the wrong way your teeth were fine before but I tend to search for the things that make me uncomfortable with my body in other people😂 But your teeth look amazing now I really didn't know composite bonding even was a thing :)
