used a universal chamberlain remote, basically the same thing different brand. I was getting impatient and hitting the button 6 times fast. watched your video and waited for the flash to stop in between clicks, boom done. thanks bro, one less headache
With my home being built in 2013 I thought it was the 19 click one to configure it. Turns out my motor was a much older model with 6 clicks. If anyone is having trouble time the amount of seconds the motor blinks in learn mode to required number of clicks in your instructions
Im having trouble keeping both the genie remote and the chamberlain universal remote paired at the same time. Basically only one can open the door. When i try to pair the other it erases the one currently paired. Im just tapping the learn button.
Hello, im having issue with the genie 7055D. Im using a chamberlain Universal remorte too. When im on my 6 click the 2 lighs start flashing instead of being solid. SO i pressed the learn button on the remote but nothing happens. Help please
Would this work the same with home link products? I don’t have the original remote to program the frequency into the home link. By the way the home link is in GM vehicles. So in the past I used the original remotes to program it. I am afraid I have to purchase a genie replacement remote to program my home link button in my new vehicle. Would you know if that is true? Thanks for your video.
Sorry for the delayed response. If you haven't figured it out or for others with the same question... it will work just program the universal remote, then program your homelink with the newly programmed universal remote.

You can program 2 buttons on the same remote to open and close both doors
Yes, you can program 1 remote for 2 doors, even if they are different brand openers.
