I was tweaking a preset slightly for a Gibson Les Paul the other day and this is what I came up with, as well as some tips for how you could tweak this to be closer to what you're looking for!
This preset is "Litigator Lead" and has 3 snapshots

Excellent preset! I noticed at the 8:25 mark your upper knob skipped blocks when trying to select the dual delay. My stomp is doing this as well…almost like a dead spot when turning the dial. Do you think this is a firmware update issue or maybe the dial is starting to wear out?
I got this same issue recently with mine, I've only had it for a couple months
John your tone and your playing always blow me away - but sometimes when I download the preset into my Helix LT they can sound really overdriven - this one sounds almost fuzz-like rather than that smooth lead tone you have. I've tried it with my Ltd Deluxe loaded with Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic pickups and my PRS SE Hollowbody 2 Pieze (just on the magnetic pickups) but still with those lower-wound pups it sounds like a freight train through my monitors.
Is this particular preset available on your Stomp link? It sounds perfect for a Satriani tune.

I wish you tried it on some cheap amps and guitars to hear how it really sounds in in a cheap setup. I know that most people buying these have expensive rigs since they can afford it, but I'm just curious what sounds it produces to the cheap rigs.

At the moment the Pod Go doesn't have this cab, but the Eric Lead preset for Pod Go is pretty similar, just try disabling the compressor up front

Cool bass line on the backing track-it works perfectly against the loop to create really interesting harmonic movement. The guitar tone has this kind of "bloom" at the starts of notes that I really like. There's an Al Di Meola track with this kind of thing happening, "Phantom" (a Chick Corea cover), and I've been wondering how to get that kind of bloom. This patch might be a good starting point (Al's tone is a bit cleaner, and with what sounds to me like a low mid push). Here's the Al Di track on YT: ruclips.net/video/drbpAb8LRXU/видео.html. -Tom

@@johnnathancordy I'm not sure. "Kiss My Axe" came out in 1991. I think that's well before Fuchs started building amps (I think Al has been bouncing between Boogies and Fuchs in the last 20 years). So I'd guess that he was mainly using a Boogie at that time. But I've followed him since the late 1970s (my first post-pandemic concert was an Al Di show!), and to my ears the tone on that track is pretty unique for Al. So I've wondered if he was using something different from normal on "Phantom."

@@johnnathancordy I know it's not as flexible as a Helix or Quad Cortex, but covering some bread a butter custom patches would be great. But more specifically, I can immediately think of a few: 1) How different chain settings can be used for specific effect. 2) Parametric vs GE10 3) Using EQ to shape your tone.
Use of EQ could probably be a more generalized topic that isn't specific to a single platform. Or even expand on that and make it a series, covering a specific effect (compression, distortion, chorus, delay, reverb), one at a time with a full deep dive on that particular effect.
The reason why I brought up EQ first is because a) I think guitarists are generally familiar with gain, delay, and reverb... but b) most probably aren't very skilled with using EQ to shape the tone - and judging by your patch creation, you have it down to a science.
Please cover the new katana head plus cab. I need the JNC stamp of approval before dropping the big bucks.

@@johnnathancordy I should have noted that these suggestions all have to do with the Boss Tone Studio software. The front panel is very limited and varies from model to model. Using the Tone Studio software, you can create the same patch for ALL MkII Katana models, from the 50w Combo to the Head to the Artist.
