Wow, that's amazing. Thank you for the walk-through. I suspect a lot of surface modellers who want to design in nurbs and output to mesh (Games and Viz) will want to use this feature, even if they don't use Rhino as their primary nurbs program. I can't think of any other program that does it this well.
Amazing tool. I've been playing around with it and it does a good job. I hope its development does not stop here and it keeps improving as it is a crucial part of any serious 3D modeler who needs quad meshes.
After creating the polysurface, explode it then try using merge surface command to combine the individual surfaces. This is only way and it might not always work.
There's more to Rhino 7. The rendering capability will be getting a tremendous boost. An example of it is here ruclips.net/video/D9oz6wjmSuI/видео.html (denoising a rendering). I am very exciting about the coming version !
Woooof! The END of Nightmare for import and export .... tnx pros keep continue! however i couldn't understand why we shouldn't have Quad mesh in 3d software's by default instead of chaotic meshes. it drives us up to wall.
Hi, Yes, you could use the Smooth command if creating a mesh instead of a SubD with QuadRemesh. Post your model to the user forum if you need more help please discourse.mcneel.com/ Thanks.
Thanks! Really is extremely useful to have SubD in Rhino. And I have made a discovery... I render in V-Ray and so far that doesn't work with Rhino 7 WIP. I have been converting a Rhino 7 SubD form to NURBS then saving as Rhino 6... then opening in Rhino 6 to render. Problem is that sometimes I need to do a bit of trial and error to see how the form shows in V-Ray and that means back and forth between WIP 7 and Rhino 6. Time consuming! I then discovered that the Control-Shift selection of faces and edges and their movement (as in SubD) works with the imported WIP 7 forms even though they have been converted to NURBS, but seemingly only in Perspective View... Odd but very useful!
You won't have surface edges as a guide option if you are quad remeshing a mesh or SubD. That setting will only be available for NURBS surfaces or polysurfaces being remeshed.
Thank you so much 😊 may i ask one thing? Can i involve voronoi in this rabbit mesh? If it is possible, how can i do this? Please respond my question . Please 🙏🙏🙏
The conversion from Mesh to Nurbs is not ok yet... Needs some more improvements: It's not ok to have a surface for every polygon converted, if some polygons has the same flow they should be converted in a single Nurbs surface as T-Splines or Mesh2Surface do. But the conversion from Nurbs to Mesh with quadRemesh is amazing!
@@artkiko4460 Now Rhino has been improved a lot and now it can do good conversions, but as I said in my comment before, Mesh2Nurbs and T-Splines in Fusion 360 are very good too.
OMG!!! am I dreaming ?! I swear there are tears in my eyes ,I have to test it ...thank you so much
Hurray! Oh man, its so funny that we can get this exalted over a remesher-option, but Im with you, it feels like a dream come true.

I can do this from the last 5 years but the method was complicated and include 3-4 software.

@@bayarmaabayarmagnai8687 there might be a way using grasshopper with rhino but not with quadremesh.
@@paymansalehishafa6884 how to convert quadremesh to one open surface? Is there has any direct way?
@@bayarmaabayarmagnai8687 in rhino there is mesh to nurb command but you will get a polysurface; not a single nurb surface.

You need the Rhino 7 WIP then it's the command QuadRemesh. See the link in the description above for more details.
