I know I have said it before. Mama brought us to the Valley when I was 5. I grew up there raised my family there and Arizona will always be home. Now I am retired in Missouri living with my youngest daughter and her husband.
This is a fantastic video. It brings back memories of some twenty years ago, in which my father and myself did exactly the same trip between Phoenix and Las Vegas. Since then there have been some major improvements with twinning more sections of highway 93. Of course the newer interstate 11 nor the Pat Tillman bridge existed back then either. Those days you actually drove over the Hoover dam and through Boulder City.
It's always a treat driving on the Hoover Dam, but for the sake of traffic and convenience I'm glad they built I-11! That entire section must've been so much different then than it is now!
Driven this route so many times, probably could do it blindfolded. But then I would miss out on the scenery. As a Nevadan, I must say that Arizona has us beat. The Nevada desert is barren. The Arizona desert is lush & full of tall cactus forests. Not just north of Wickenburg but throughout the entire state. Also, Las Vegas is maybe a quarter the size of the Valley of the Sun. The Phoenix metroplex has expanded like no other metro in the country...
Quite a drive. It would be great skipping traffic in real life like how you can edit out sitting in traffic. Great scenery between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
I did this drive(or similar) a little over 10 years ago during my first visit to the west coast. As someone from the northeast, seeing the desert, mountains, and Joshua trees was a sight. I enjoyed that drive and seeing this side of nature I’ve never seen more than anything I did in Vegas. Admittedly it was the first drive and gps’s weren’t as big at the time…but I’m stumped on how I turned this into more of an 8hr drive for me.
bonjour magnifique vidéo sur ce voyage de las vegas a phoenix superbe paysages vous avez vraiment un superbe pays magnifique montage vidéo merci de se partage cordialement
I like deserts and I always considered the triangle between Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Phoenix the most beautiful and most interesting part of the USA. Would love to travel there and if I were rich, I would want to live there. (Not so much in California anymore, the way that state has developed in the last 20 years, unfortunately.) Thanks for this video.
warning for low profile sports car suspensions , Hwy 93 north of Wickenburg has uneven\crack surfaces for about 30 miles until you get to I-40, as you can see. I regret taking it and wished I drove all the interstates to Las Vegas.
I did this drive from 10pm- 2 i believe and gaahhhlee was it completely different. Soo soo dark i was the only car for miles. Ii did not dig it. Felt eerie.
Hopefully they’ll continue making improvements. They’ve fixed up a couple parts of I-17 heading southbound near Flagstaff and Sedona recently which was really appreciated.
I love these types of videos, road trips are my favorite hobbies.

Arizona is a great state. Missouri has a lot of nice areas as well. I was raised in the Midwest, but I’ll always love the desert. Thanks for watching!
Las Vegas is a place that holds many fond memories for both of us. Next year will be our 30th wedding anniversary, so I would like to visit again.
Hope you can make that trip! Congratulations on 30 years of marriage!
Yes! Can you do please Nevada to California Scenic Drive 4K.
The landscape is so amazing 😁
The desert is a lot of fun.

The Sonoran gets a bit more water than the Mojave.

This was lovely. Believe it or not, I would have enjoyed watching the edited Goodyear to Morristown segment.

PHX does have best "Acceleration" merging freeway lane design, having lived there for a long time
Definitely agree with that.
A friend and I did this drive about 5 times in '92. Looks a lot different now.

At some point in the future, the 93 will be redesignated I-11. A lot of the infrastructure for it is going in now.
That would be really nice!
@@AdventureEveryDay At least the part of the 93 from Wickenburg to the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

You're driving too slow and being passed on the right.
Is the camera inside or outside of the car?
