As a kid, I always loved going on long drives during the rain. As an adult, I realize how dangerous it is driving in the rain lol. But I consider myself a good and careful driver. If I drive in the rain by myself, I just listen to a podcast to keep me calm and accompanied.
I moved from Maine to Las Vegas when I was 8. We drove across the country and it poured for the majority of the time. I remember being in the backseat just staring out the window for hundreds of miles, unable and unwilling to sleep. We don't get much rain here in vegas, or if we do, it doesn't last very long. Videos like this help me remember my home and when times were simpler and more magical. Thank you for this :)

No one understands what I’m going through. My depression has gotten worse because of them. My nervous system is on high alert all the time. I’m exhausted, but no matter how much I try, I can’t sleep well. Everything feels like it’s going downhill. I want to feel safe in life; I’ve forgotten what that feels like. And I've forgotten how happiness feels like. If anyone reads this, please pray for me.
This video is incredible. At first I thought the car interior was a CGI thing with a 'generic rain slaked window' overlaid onto some African or South American 'road trip' view. I zoomed in until the view out of the window filled my screen and watched and listened. I wondered why no wipers... and I wondered why I couldn't hear any traffic.... And I watched for a loop point. By about 12 minutes in I realised that there was some hints of the traffic noise, that the road out there really was a dark, rainy 'rush hour' journey home... that it was Malaysia or Indonesia, that the window was real and occasionally the wipers came on and the rain spots changed immediately afterwards (as they would in real life). I then realised that the dark interior was real, not a CGI. At 12 minutes I've not found the loop yet and I'm loving the dark, warm, slightly-out-of-focus feel of this journey. A definite KEEPER of a video, thank you! If there was anything I would want different it would be a screen full of window view without the car interior, but that's my preference :)

Regarding the windshield wipers, you can actually see five swipes near the end of the clip, starting at 17:49, as well as occasional swipes before that, i.e. at 13:45. I'm leaning towards it being real rather than a render, or maybe some kind of composite.

I read in the comments its graphics from a game. I thought it was real until 3 minutes in when i realized he never turned on the wipers and those people would most likely not ride scooters like that when it's raining in buckets.
Omg i thought this was real for the first three minutes when I then realized you never turned the windshield wipers on. Lol Then i thought those people probably wouldn't be riding those scooters like that in rain that's pouring that hard 😅
