Been playing this game since it was new and only now learning of the gate backtrack trick. Love this game .

It was always so rage-inducing when I went past flippers only to realize there were unexplored areas in the previous section with red coins or flowers. Now I know how to combat that (without save state cheating that is lol)! The red coin duplication also helps a lot with the 100% completion lol. Thank you so much!

This is a great video man. Tons of shit I didn't know about Yoshi's Island. The car wall jump trick is both adorable AND useless! Definitely gonna try the infinite lives tricks and the reverse gate trick, thanks mane!

Most of the time, I would usually use the following 5 Items the most often besides the POW Block.
1: Super Green Watermelon
2: 20-Point Star
3: Magnifying Glass
4: Winged Cloud Maker
5: Anytime Egg
Those are great items!
If you spit the snail out next to the pipe it will automatic kill them for you

Cool video! Yoshi's Island is one of the greatest games of all time, and imo, even slightly better than Super Mario World.

I don't know why, but I just never got into this game. I didn't know Yoshi turned into a car! Might have to bust out the SNES Classic and try it out now!

Hey tip on the fuzzy lv with the rollie pollie guy get him stuck in between the pipe and the cliff stand on top face a way to gather the shy guys in that small opening face them to make the rollie pollie turn in to a ball killing them all or just stand facing the pipe and gather your lives
(Tip/Only 6 shy guys will come out for the eggs you can carry so if you have 6 eggs on yoshi shy guys won't come out)

Welp another great video from my broski! Now I’m gonna be honest. I didn’t know about most of these, but I remember playing this back in the day and being soooo disappointed that it wasn’t a direct SMW “play style” sequel. But one criticism I have is that I feel the background colors are kinda bland, or maybe I’m just me. Idk that always bugged me. But to be fair it does fit the character of the game.
How can i save my progress? Is there auto-save or something
