In 2006, driving down route 15 in Northern Virginia, between Leesburg and Manassas, I used to listen to this song, at 2:30AM, smoking cigarettes and watching the moonlit fog out the window over the fields as I drove. That was a very powerful moment in my life. It means nothing, but for some reason, it stuck with me.
There was a cold front that came down from the very North that made my city at the time a n actual Silent Hill town for the time being only a few hours or so and then it was gone just like magic. I dressed up in a Grim Reaper's and walked down main street as if it was empty. NOT a single car could be found driving for hours or, so it was completely DEAD to every sense of the word. The town had no city sounds. Cops were silent and the city was just as barren as anything in any horror front ever. ONLY ONCE that happened in my life. Weather and climate AM, I right? The program wants me to say, "Weather and Climate "ARE" I right?" instead of Am I correct? FUCK NO I AM NOT, but it makes SO much MORE sense like that though.
In 2018, i worked at Six Flags for Fright Fest, and this song would play at the main gate every night after the park closed. Brings back so many awesome memories

"We've all lost our children... our light. They deceived me... their evil... their hate... They hurt my child... They did terrible things to her... Alessa." - Dahlia, the movie
From someone who hasnt played a single silent hill game: It sounds so sad, so unnerving, so discouraging. Almost like, you found out the truth of something horrible beyond your control. All you can do is hope for the best. Hope, that someone, anyone, can help. You aren’t in immediate danger, but you will be soon.
Great description. I haven't played a single Silent Hill game, yet I absolutely adore the series' soundtracks. And sometimes I think it's better not knowing what tracks goes to what, since it allows me to leave it to the imagination.
"I don't know what to say..." Douglas "Then don't say anything." Heather starts to cry, "I'm fine, so just get out of here and leave me alone already!" "Calm down, I'm just-" Douglas "CALM DOWN! How the hell I'm suppose to do that! My father is dead! He's murdered!" Heather yells and pushes Douglas. "Get out! This is all you fault. If it weren't for you..." "I'm sorry." Douglas "Then GO!" "If it will make you feel better I will." With this song I always remember this scene from SH3 game.

A story im thinking of on the fly, inspired by this song: Not 1 hour ago, i had decided I could not take anymore. Upon crossing the threshold, I was greeted by ruins; collosal gates mangled beyond repair, a stairway and grandiose throne now rubble. A being darted out of the pale, sickly light; a man who once could be considered attractive, now disheveled and haggard, as if unable to rest or recover. He put his hand upon my mouth as i began to speak, then looked me dead in the eyes and spoke quietly: "Return to life, son of man. Stay alive as long as you are able. It is far safer there now that HE has returned." In a flash of light, I was on the floor of my bedroom, unable to remove that man's fearful, ragged face from my mind. I dont know who he was, or who he was speaking of, but I now feel that life is worth living at all costs. Life is safety, and that safety will run out for us all.

Im not upset about the memes actually, this masterpiece has proven to be so captivating that even sh*t posting cant lower its grandeur.
you feel something watching you from afar.
you look behind you.
theres nothing but darkness.
you look infront of you and see 2 eyes.
it tells you to go close to it.
you run back knowing its a trap.
You feel something grab you and you know its the end for you.
