Silent Hill 2 is the perfect game when it comes to depression. The game is comforting in it's overwhelming sadness and decay, you can lose your thoughts in this emotionally draining experience, and it's therapeutic in a way. I have yet to complete this game without tearing up at the end voice over. This song encompasses nostalgia, sadness, hopefulness, and even dread, and in my opinion is the greatest video game song of all time
MinMonMeme Cry Of Fear is the least subtle thing on the planet. Absolutely hopeless and bleak. Great game, but i wouldn't put it anywhere above Silent Hill 2
You Said everything. Its kinda of funny that somehow a horror game with such strong plot and a Lot of disturbing things like illness, love, death and guilty can makes us feel better. Everyday I heard SH ost, specially from 2 and 3. My daily terapy
David De La Cruz Cry of fear is beautiful too,but they are not similar because here is a love history and Cry of fear is a Personal horror history But yeah they are the 2 most beautiful horror games.
Невероятная мелодия. Вроде бы такая простая. Такая романтично расслабляющая. Однако, создаёт какое-то ощущение ностальгии, ощущении упущенного прошлого.
That's a very difficult statement to argue. Very few games out there have reached the level of perfection that SH2 did. Everything just seemed to work to create that perfect Silent Hill atmosphere that true fans long for to continue. I don't see that level of quality in a SH game ever happening again. Every game in the series that came after it got worse in succession. I'm sure we all got our hopes up with Hideo Kojima's Silent Hills just to have our hearts ripped out when it was cancelled.
Was Silent Hills ever gonna be released though? You may very well argue that P.T. was Kojima's way of saying fuck you to Konami.. "Dad was such a drag. Every day he'd eat the same kind of food, dress the same, sit in front of the same kind of games... Yeah, he was just that kind of guy. But then one day, he goes and kills us all! He couldn't even be original about the way he did it. I'm not complaining... I was dying of boredom anyway, But guess what? I will be coming back, and I'm bringing my new toys with me." Replace the word "dad" with Konami and replace the words "kill us" with fire us... See where I'm going with this?
True, it definitely seems like he was referencing Konami there. As far as it not supposed to have ever been made, who knows. While it does seem that way, he very well could've been planning to make it but once everything with Konami started going down decided to just make P.T. instead. Like knowing he got SH fans hopes up and wanted to at least give them something before his departure. Then he could've added in those metaphoric story elements as a way to explain to fans what happened in a very secretive way that Konami wouldn't notice at the time. Just a thought. If it was ever to be created I bet it would've been a masterpiece. I mean the playable teaser was already a masterpiece in it's own right. One of the greatest demos of all time imo. I'm definitely glad I still have it on my PS4. I doubt I'll ever get rid of that system.
@@grim_2000 --- Silent Hill 2 was the best Silent Hill game ever with Silent Hill 3 as a close second for me. If anyone wants to play really good Silent Hill games, play Silent Hill 1-3.
Anyone else think pyramid head should have just stayed in Silent Hill 2 since he shouldn't even exist in any other Silent Hill, since he was from James' mind to punish himself for what he did?
Lo .dlc Pyramid head is the agresive man that james was not because he is guilty :) he is the libido and agresive ways to act also thats why pyramid head first apears rapeing a monster because he needed that... he wanted that
Pyramid head represents different things, as different monsters are different punishments or executioners for the many people who commit sins or sorrows.
They could have made up a new monster to take the place of 'boogyman' in Homecoming and still have the role. That's why I like how in SH3 they put in Valtiel. And I give props to Downpour for their version of 'boogyman'. He looked so badass with his Hammer, raincoat, and gas mask. So the Butcher in SHO and 'boogyman' in Homecoming are copies of Pyramid Head and it was a little upsetting. whatalongpost-_-
It was Summertime. I was 13. I was home alone for a few days. My older brother told me to play this. Turned the lights off, placed the game in my PlayStation 2, beat it in one night. One of the most atmospheric and scariest moments of my life. I'll always treasure that experience. It's something I can never get back.
This comment really brings me back. Granted, I was 14 when I played it, and it was my younger brother who introduced me to the games. But I remember I'd ride over to my dad's house on my bike in the summer when he wasn't there and just sit in the darkness of the living room and play it. And I'd do it over and over again. The game never scared me, but it always had a special place in my heart and still does.
I guess it because horror games may cause us to feel fear, since is an emotion, so the came still make you feel something, I my first horror game was Resident Evil 2 from N64 but the first one that I had to be able to beat was the The evil Withim. A low amount of games are really able to makes us feel something now days

A good horror game doesen't really hafto be scary in my opinion. I was never really afraid in SH2 but the atmosphear and story was so excellent i would easily consider it the best horror game ever made. In terms of scary i have played worse, but everything els sort of lacked. I love RE4 and RE2 remake but they are more towards survivor horror. A good horror game can be so many different things but scary.
How does a human being make a timeless music soundtrack without the benefit of a well known, mainstream music Corp? Akira Yamaoka. Forever Silent Hill.
Is he doing music on remake? First time I played this was a few months ago. I don’t play old games unless it’s for nostalgic purposes but wow. Game is unreal
@@reasonable78 is even a little snippet of this precise song, with a little bit of an orchestral background in the combat trailer, showcased on Juanuary 31st, 2024's State of Play combat trailer by Sony
From a French fan who made the initial trilogy day one for each opus, who instantly fell in love for the games themselves and for their OST (and for their composer!), I just want to say Amen! Godly gifted Yamaoka made something truly authentic with his music, I don't cry easily, from joy or sorrow, excepted between a few ones artists (all musicians) while listening a Silent Hill OST; while listening to Akira Yamaoka's pieces of art. The first game being about a father looking for his child, this month of April 2024 sign the third year after the child I am lost his father. Listening to SH OST reminds the times when, while playing it, he was still among us. Since then I lost him, more than ever, a song like Waiting for You or Hell Frozen Rain makes rivers flowing on my cheeks. Even just thinking about these songs (and other ones) while typing this makes me feeling tears inside rising, trying to flow again. Sorry, this is pretty longer than expected when I started this answer. In short, I coudn't agree more with your statement: Silent Hill Forever!
I see all my life going trough in a slidewhow while hearing this. Anyone else has that feeling? Its like the perfect song for the ending of everything. So fucking nostalgic
Yeah I have to agree, something similar flashes through my mind too when I listen to this.... It's like its happy, in a way.. and yet melancholy.. Bittersweet to a certain extent....... It's a really good song
@AlexShepherd99 they had to keep hush before about silenthill but now that they've come out of the closet I'm sure they'll actually listen to feedback and suggestions now
@AlexShepherd99 I admit I'm not a fan of the new voice but I love the new graphics and I'm also not opposed to the idea of new gameplay mechanics as long as it doesn't force me to play it in first person or something. I doubt there would be much change to the plot or levels. The creators made a really big point to stay true to the original game as closely as possible (so much that some people even described the process as "almost excessively" faithful to the original) While a few new surprises are thrown in here and there.
This track is so melancholic... It evokes a strange mix of emotions. The building chords of the background guitar are reassuring, telling me that "its all over now", yet the mournful tones of the lead guitar seem to be retelling a sad memory. In my opinion, a perfect send off for an experience like Silent Hill. It is traumatic, but therapeutic in a way. You see how far you've come, and reflect on the sacrifice it took to get there. Man, I just love this soundtrack.

I remember back in 2001 being 17 years old on the verge of finishing high school trying figure out what I was going to do and I got this game for Christmas and I was floored by the storyline had me hooked from start to finish I had never experienced anything like it. I fondly remember raving about this game to my friends and fellow gamers in school, it really helped me prepare for adult life after I finished high school. Silent Hill 2 is once in a life time experience, the rare perfect game that still holds up today.
yes this game is so emotinal and it gives us many lessons :) . Theme of laura isn't a sad melody like promise or like silent hill's main theme it's i don't know . It's emotinal like all the other soundtracks from sh2 but it's diff because it's just theme of Laura and Laura is an innocent girl that's why she was able to see the real world in silent hill
I think I'm lucky I got to play it. I was BORN in 2001 and my brother somehow later got his hands on a copy of sh2 and 3 for ps2 so I played them and now they are my fav games ever! I also have 5 and downpour.
***** shattered memories also as bad as SH 4.. i think 3 is still accepted since it has great story, and the film, i think, was made based on that series. and not to mention downpour made bounce back after SH falling on the last 2 series. but still, indeed, i agree with you that 1 and 2 is two of the best horror game ever
Finished Silent Hill 2 for the first time today, and boy do I wish I could relieve this day with no memories of the day. Truly a game that made the last day of this month, the best.
Silent Hill never gets to run out of meaning. It seems the older you get, the more you relate to it. Silent Hill is probably the most honest artistic exploration of human psyche.
Something about this song is so perfect. You can feel the blossoming love James and Mary felt for each other in the first half of the song. The second half perfectly captures the inevitable downfall of their relationship after Mary's illness; it's just a really big "well, this is the end," feeling.
I always felt the same way in a thematic sense. The first half is like a love prom song before it transition into a tragedy song where your sins come after you. For the ending, one of the edits using the song represent it well, a farewell love song before the end.
I got a letter. The name on the envelope said 'Konami.' My distributor's name... It's ridiculous, couldn't possibly be true... That's what I keep telling myself... A dead company can't write a letter. Konami died of that damn western disease three years ago. So then why am I looking for horror?' Our 'special IP'... What could it mean' This whole series was our special IP. Does it mean Metal Gear Solid?' We spent the whole dev team there. Just the two of us, staring at the fans. Could Konami really be there' Is it really alive... waiting for PT?'
There will never be another game like Silent Hill 2 man. Seriously one of the best horror games ever made. Hell it ain't even horror, it's a damn ride...a very emotional and a experience
I was always too scared to play Silent Hill 2, but finally got around to completing it shortly after finding out my first girlfriend died and I somewhat felt like James, alone and searching for his lost love in a cruel world I suppose I have a sentimental attachment to this game, and this music is sad and makes me think of her
I'm so sorry to hear that, my girlfriend recently left me, and I've been so lost as well. She hates me now and I've done nothing wrong in the relationship, she just doesn't want to love me anymore.

Diego Hernandez It was just kojima leaving konami that stopped silent hills. They could continue working on it but there like NOPE SCREW OUT FANS METAL GEAR SOLID FOR LIFE.
They will more than likely give it to some shitty western devs (like what they did with the silent hill franchise).... OR, have some respect for the IP and make it the final game in the series
A somehow depressive yet beatiful song for a deppressive yet beautiful story. Maybe we all like this song and relate ourselves to it, because maybe it tells our very own story, because maybe we all have had our very own Silent Hill story in a given moment of our lives wherein we descended to our deepest self. For the love of fuck, I´ll sound like my grandparents, but they don´t do song like these anymore..
Even if you have a mortally ill companion, think twice and heavily on all of your actions, for were there to be regret after all was said and done, you'll be eternally in your own purgatory of emotions internally, while lying to others on the outside of your own pain. - The price for mishandling your own mind is a steep cost to make, and it's all inside that(pyramid) head of yours. The one place you cannot escape, the one place you cannot be free from. Your very own SH2. That was my lesson I learned from SH2, one I heeded *very* well when my companion became mortally ill. - Yet even now, I keep returning to this. I never quite left the place, neither did James, neither did you, if you understood what that lesson meant.
This song has been stuck in my head for over 20 years and become part of my life like it has many other people an incredible piece of work by the legend Akira Yamaoka this guy deserves to be a billionaire

My friend was “playing” this on his guitar and instantly grabbed my attention....I asked what it was and told me about it being on silent hill so I had to check it out. This is a great song I love the beginning, kinda wish it would stay slow all the way threw. Depressing music is the most honest music
I’d look into the fanmade SH2 remake mod if you’re looking to play it. Upscaled resolution of the PC version and it brings back the original cutscenes in HD from the PS2 version. Plays and looks fantastic
This song reminds me that Silent Hill while scary, just as a lot of games these days are, is also quite moving emotionally. One of the first things you hear in this game is the sweet voiced Mary reading her letter to James. And in Silent Hill 1 you can see the joy oozing out of Harry when he's with his daughter in the car at the very beginning. And they don't blatantly say it in an string of overwritten dialogue, instead it's very subtle. They don't even need words, they just glance at each other and you can tell there's that love between them. Even Heather, who's a total bitch for most of the game shows her softer side on the phone with Harry right near the beginning. That bit of tenderness makes you instantly feel for these characters and makes them seem real. Silent Hill is NOT just about uncovering the mystery of what's happening or fighting scary monsters that have all this DEEP psychological significance. That's just the cherry on top. What really kept you stepping into the darkness and fighting through the fear is the slowly fading hope that these people will be reunited. The first games were an emotional journey because you end up loving the characters. You love Harry because he'll do absolutely anything for his daughter, even when she's not really his daughter. You love James because he's emotionally vulnerable, but pulls himself together in the end even though he's lost everything. And you love Heather because when she acts like a bitch, you know she's just masking her fear and sadness over her past. They're each complex and realistic in a unique way, and those are only the main characters, never mind the game's fantastic supporting casts. In my opinion the ability to be invested in the character's stories through the way they are told is what the newer games really missed, and what it really takes to make a good Silent Hill game. The fact that it's not just a grimdark void of chainsaws and zombies is exactly what makes it special.
Couldn't really have said that better myself! True horror is probably one of the hardest genres to make. You need drama, not just maniacs/zombies/jumpscares. You need real, relatable people with real struggles. If the audience cares about them, they'll also care about unnamable terror from beyond.. I know I'm paraphrasing Stephen King here a bit, but it's true!
Back when horror games were actually a psychological mind fuck... Damn this is so dark and depressive, Im more of a Resident Evil fan, but being honest, Silent Hill is way more original and dark... A true horror game. Not silly and crappy jumpscares, but an actual dark story about a missing love in a dark place full of monsters. I think this game is what depressive people live trought, and the monsters world is what you get if you commit suicide... Yes, i told you, very dark. Good thing i played this game for the first time now in 2016 (im 24) and not in 2001 when i was kid, because i would have had serious nightmares and problems... This is an adults game.
the first time i tred it during the hd collection a year or so after it came out i was to scared. Decided to emualte it at december 2012 due to gamefaq voting pool and all the postivty thing about the game and what a good game this is .
I remember playing this game at night with that square sony tv with all the lights off in the room. I wasn't supposed to play it because it was brand new sealed and my dad got pissed of when he came home at night from work and saw me playing it xD. I was around 8 years old and my brother was in on it as well. Ah I remember my very first thoughts of the game..."What's with these controls!?". My brother thought I was an idiot and didn't know how to play the game. Now, everyone now a days is saying the same thing. Wish I could punch him for me being right lol

Everyone talks about the theme of Laura being so iconic (which it very well is) but I always liked this song the best from SH2’s soundtrack! Such a work of art you rarely gems like this anymore in games or film! Last year my wife of 7 years passed away unexpectedly at the age of 33 so the whole story of SH2 & James as a character feels all the more personal now after playing it again recently….really pulled my heart strings I’ll say that!

Going through Silent Hill 2 and its lore is among the best experiences I've ever had in any media. The Silent Hill series and Omori are possibly my favorites in the psychological horror genre.
Still amazed what Yamaoka achieved with OST for Silent Hill 2 - pure essence of grief, longing, bitterness and some dose of hope. So many years and it gets to You the same way it did long, long ago.
This game and it's OST hits harder when You actually experienced taking care of terminally ill family member, loved one. My grandfather within last 2 months (due to prostate cancer) started to lose consciousness, stopped to walk. Cancer combined with the stroke he had few years ago + pills he is forced to take started to mix up his mind and memory. I couldn't understand James that well when I played the game for the very first time but now.. I can.. and it's not something that You can be happy about. I wanted my grandpa at least to see my kids but now I understand that he never will. He was a father figure to me, somebody I could always rely on, strong, hard working, independent and proud men. When I see what he changed into.. shell of his former self that needs help 24/7.. A wicked parody of a guy he once was, but still clinging to this life of vegetation with crazy stubbornness.. I can't help it but I just can't look at him without mixed feelings. On one hand grief on the other disdain.. yet it's not even his fault, that's just how his "cards" were played out by God, fate, fortuity or whatever You want to call it.. It pains to take care of him, it pains to listen to him, it pains to watch him suffer, slowly dying.. It pains to know that my grandma (she barely walks herself) and my dad are trying to take care of him thinking that maybe he will get better. I'm trying to help then whenever I can but it's not always possible (my own home, job duties). And yes, I had that thought that maybe fast death wouldn't be a bad option, my grandpa wouldn't have to suffer and so my dad and grandma.. Silent Hill 2 is not a mere game, it's partial experience of something that I don't wish to anybody.
i remember after my grandma had a stroke, i went to see her after she went from the hospital to the nursing home. she got caught in a thought loop and it tore me to shreds seeing her like that and i started bawling like a baby. it made her cry too, but she didnt know why... im glad she's atleast at peace now.

Silent Hill 2 is the perfect game when it comes to depression. The game is comforting in it's overwhelming sadness and decay, you can lose your thoughts in this emotionally draining experience, and it's therapeutic in a way. I have yet to complete this game without tearing up at the end voice over.
This song encompasses nostalgia, sadness, hopefulness, and even dread, and in my opinion is the greatest video game song of all time
I knew I wasn't the only one who cried like a little bitch at the ending voice over!!!
What about Cry Of Fear?
MinMonMeme Cry Of Fear is the least subtle thing on the planet. Absolutely hopeless and bleak. Great game, but i wouldn't put it anywhere above Silent Hill 2
Oh yeah silent hill 2 is the greater game lol I was just pointing the game out :)
You Said everything. Its kinda of funny that somehow a horror game with such strong plot and a Lot of disturbing things like illness, love, death and guilty can makes us feel better. Everyday I heard SH ost, specially from 2 and 3. My daily terapy
SH2 is the most beautiful horror game...
Alongside Cry Of Fear.

The SH2 OST is without a doubt, THE best survival horror game soundrack ever produced. Akira Yamaoka is a musical genius.
Incidentally, SH2 is THE best survival horror game ever created
No, Silent Hill 2 is the BEST game ever created.
I will be coming back, and I'm bringing my new toys with me."
Replace the word "dad" with Konami and replace the words "kill us" with fire us...
One of the best psychological horror games to ever exist. This game is more than 20 years old now but its still a timeless masterpiece!

Horror games is not just about terrifying
It‘s about fighting against the fear with bravery.
IT IS! IT IS the best psychological horror game to ever exist!!😈
Anyone else think pyramid head should have just stayed in Silent Hill 2 since he shouldn't even exist in any other Silent Hill, since he was from James' mind to punish himself for what he did?
Pyramid head exists because James feels guilty ! =)
So the Butcher in SHO and 'boogyman' in Homecoming are copies of Pyramid Head and it was a little upsetting. whatalongpost-_-
Yeah, but we don't live in a perfect world
It was Summertime.

@AlexShepherd99 I think they went with silent hill 2 simply because it's a fan favorite

Said everything!! Love these games..
This entire comment is exactly why I love Silent Hill games

this to you after I'm gone.
That means that as you read
this, I'm already dead.
I can't tell you to remember me,
but I can't bear for you to
forget me.
These last few years since I
became ill... I'm so sorry for
what I did to you, did to us...
You've given me so much and
I haven't been able to return
a single thing.
That's why I want you to live
for yourself now.
Do what's best for you, James.
James...
You made me happy."

From one man to another my brother I wish you all the best and I empathise fully with the passing of your wife. May you be reunited again one day forever
i have played many games but this one left a mark like no other after

I give you a like because you wrote fuck konami. Well done
I don’t know why, but Akira's tracks remind me of a happy childhood. A time when I learned something new every day and was always surrounded by my beloved family. Many years have passed and some people have left me forever, but this music takes me back to that great time
Konami broke their promise to Kojima. Konami broke their promise to the fans.
RIP Silent Hills.
85futureshock :(
85futureshock Hopefully, Kojima will follow Inafune's example, and do better on his own.
85futureshock In our restless dreams, we saw that town. Silent Hill.
They promised they'd take us there again someday.
But they never did.
Michael Kemel Kojima is a god among man and enough people know what he is capable of. If he starts a kickstarter for a new project, he will get enough money *to buy* Konami.
k3nny111 Probably. Probably.
RIP Silent Hill. You stay in our hearts.
R.I.P. silent hill, you are one of the greatest horror game franchise
Now guess what? The franchise is coming back!

I've never played the game but I still feel a sort of nostalgia whenever I hear this.
Dew it
Yeah, dew it dude
Dude, what the hell??? Play that sh!t! Or at least watch this: ruclips.net/video/PMgHBDiZoMc/видео.html&ab_channel=LIQUIDSNAKEz28
If you can't play it just watch a playthrough the art of this game can be experienced either way
I played the game. Like yeeaars ago when I wrote the first comment. Man I do not regret it. What a masterpiece.
Things will be fine hope everything is ok
i remember after my grandma had a stroke, i went to see her after she went from the hospital to the nursing home. she got caught in a thought loop and it tore me to shreds seeing her like that and i started bawling like a baby. it made her cry too, but she didnt know why... im glad she's atleast at peace now.
@@David673287 The worse part is too see someone very important to You, to lose his/her personality. When minds fails and only broken body remains.. it's sad to watch.
@@Vidy4. My grandpa died at the end of October, 22X2021. He died in the night.
My condolences to you and your family, blessings to all of you
Well, James. Time to acomplish your promise and take us back to that town.
i want this song to play at my funeral.

my favorite soundtrack 🙋
MINERVA CASTRO Truly amazing. Btw, hablas español?
así es, es mi idioma principal.🙋
MINERVA CASTRO Ah que bien! Qué juegos de Silent Hill has jugado? :D
In my restless dreams,
I see that town.
Silent Hill.
You promised you'd take me
there again someday.
But you never did.
Well I'm alone there now...
In our 'special place'...
Waiting for you.
Waiting for you to
come to see me.
But you never do.
And so I wait, wrapped in my
cocoon of pain and loneliness.
I know I've done a terrible
thing to you. Something you'll
never forgive me for.
I wish I could change
that, but I can't.
I feel so pathetic and ugly
laying here, waiting for you...
Every day I stare up at the cracks
in the ceiling and all I can think
about is how unfair it all is...
The doctor came today.
he told me I could go
home for a short stay.
It's not that I'm getting better.
It's just that this may be
my last chance...
I think you know what I mean...
Even so, I'm glad to be coming
home. I've missed you terribly.
But I'm afraid James.
I'm afraid you don't really
want me to come home.
Whenever you come see me,
I can tell how hard it is on you...
I don't know if you
hate me or pity me...
Or maybe I just disgust you...
I'm sorry about that.
When I first learned that
I was going to die, I just
didn't want to accept it.
I was so angry all the time and I
struck out at everyone I loved most.
Especially you, James.
That's why I understand
if you do hate me.
But I want you to
know this, James.
I'll always love you.
Even though our life together had
to end like this, I still wouldn't
trade it for the world. We had
some wonderful years together.
Well this letter had gone on
too long so I'll say goodbye.

Is this the letter read at the end in a crying voice?
When you realize that in fact this is James's concsious talking to Mary 😢
@@mohamedjear8917wow, you so original and refreshing. Nobody anytimes thought that is all ingame interactions in sh2 was just a James's projection. What would make anyone's think that Mary's speeches and letters was just a unconsiousness fantasies and selfplot illusions? Naaah, its ridicuoluos...
I just told my mother that I love her and want to do right by her before I move out eventually. I'd been arguing with her a lot recently, but this song reminds me of what I have to be thankful for.
I’m so excited for the remake, i don’t care if it flops or sucks, we’ll see the town in upgraded image quality, modern character models and we still have the original Silent Hill 2. I do believe thqt the remake will be Bloober’s first successful game where they show how capable they really are.
Tremenda obra maestra.

Obra maestra de obra maestras
sem dúvida, perfeita
I wasn't even born when this game came out but I remember seeing the HD collection in stores and wanting to buy it. Dang, what I'd do to experience SH2 for the first time again.
silent hill 2 is best horror game ever made
Yep. Still a day
ONE of the best. It's not THE best. There's other horror games out there that are just as amazing, in their own right.
Then you never played Fatal Frame 2. It's second best in my opinion.
You’re wrong, dude. SH 2 is THE BEST game ever made
That's a fact.
I remember asking my middle school music teacher if I could play this with the piano when we were graduating back in -15. Long story short, she was relieved to find out that someone volunteered and obliged. Worth everything.
If anyone from Puolimatka reads this, including some good friends of mine, hope you are doing well.
Silent Hill 2 is one of the most brilliant game I did in my gamer life. Beautiful (scrary) story, beautiful music, beautiful game. Everything in this game is great

@@jedaaa eh we will wait and see, i think it'll turn out like the resident evil 2 remake ie, very good
Honestly I'm just glad to have more silent hill. Even if the remake doesn't turn out great, we'll still always have the OG
@@kiddingjust6946 The RE2 Remake was done by Capcom though - the original developer. The SH2 Remake is being handled by Bloober Team who - in my opinion - have never made a good, compelling game. They often lean too heavily on the crutch of "mental illness" and lack the subtlety, skill and understanding to do SH2 justice. I worry they will overexplain everything for fear of people not "getting it".
@@H0TR0B That is the same thing I was worried about, I feel the Remake is going to be hamfisted, and ridiculous is a shame.
