Thanks for your comment. I can not make generalized hydraulic calculations video for reboilers. The procedure for vertical thermosyphon reboiler is different from that for horizontal reboilers. Also in vertical reboilers, the vapour fraction is increasing at every incremental length as the two phase flow moves up the tubes from the inlet of the reboiler. It is tedious for hand calculation. It is best done with process simulation software.
@@SPEC786 Ok Sir ,can you atleast make video on circulation rate of reboiler and it's formula with respect to vaporization rate? I would be grateful if you do on it.
Before replying to your second request let me add one more point on the first request. For preliminary design the approximate hydraulic calculations presented in the video titled " Reboilers - Types, Applications and Selection Part 1 and Part 2 can b used. Watch the video and follow the steps provided. It will give rough estimate of the pressure drop and the height required to position the column to provide the needed head in the case of thermosyphon reboiiler or the pump head in the case of forced circulation reboiler. Coming to the second comment/ request, the circulation rate is calculated as follows. Calculate the bottom vapourization rate required for the column from the column design. Assume 20-25% vaporization in the reboiler. If assume 25%, the circulation rate = Vapourization rate /(0.25). With this you can design the reboiler. Hope this information is useful.
Sir , can you make video on Reboiler inlet and outlet Hydraulic Calculations ? Thank You!
