the amount of 777s Emirates has is amazing
Is like qatar's 777 I flew one of them
They even use them on mostly short hall 4-5 hour flights.
@@RegM86 That's the shortest plane they have for now. The Boeing 787's will be delivered in a few years.
In 2019 Emirates retired their old 777-300s and replaced them with 777-300ERs

Watching this in 2021 and thinking: this was the golden age of aviation - everything is different now.
The thing I really love is the beginning seconds of a flight, you know... the time where it turns into a fast and furious scene when you go from 5 mph to 98 for that graceful take off

Nice report, thank you. I have still yet to ever set foot on an Emirates plane, i always seem to find cheaper fares with other carriers, which is odd, as for most people its in reverse.
I'm very tempted to fly them between LHR-DXB-BKK though and enjoy the A380 business class the entire way.
Looks like a good product, not a leading product anymore, but still great.
Once you'll fly onboard on of their 380's in C ;)
It's a solid product but not the best, old seats, normal service and to much fake wood and gold.
Thx for your trip report. So now I can be sure that my desicion to go the same route with the A380 was the better choice. Have gone economy to Dubai and business back was a great deal. Did the bus trip after landing in Dubai but had a direct boarding at Dubai A gate. Also business lounge has been on 3 floor w/o any duty free shops. Business class on the A380 are superior to any other plane (no one showed me a better one). Even pick up home was free of charge and done with a Mercedes S-type! Greatings from a friend of the Anderl family!
If you're lucky, you can go on their new 777, the cabin is just like in the A380

So just went from Lahore to Dubai and back. I loved it. BTW I went on Emirates business 777-300 er

Excellent report I traveled to lax from Dubai with 380 business class 16 hour flight it was perfect flight economy lower deck it was very packed when I was boarding upperdeck and very nice report thumbs up 👍🏻

Simply Aviation I traveled 14 hours from Brisbane to Dubai in economy, I didn't complain, just enjoyed the first time experience, plenty of time to take in all the amazement...hahahaha xD

I know..it also felt onboard very old!
Simply Aviation really ? I've flown with A6-EBA ( their oldest 77W) in economy class and it was a NIGHTMARE. The IFE were not working, the seats were tighter and not comfortable (less than the new 3-4-3) I had 3 seats all for myself but I haven't enjoyed the trip.
Flying with old Emirates aircraft is horrible, flying with new ones is incredible.
Just for you to know:
A6-EB- oldest 777 aircrafts first generation IFE
A6-EC- around 9 years old second generation IFE
A6-EG- around 5 years old second generation until -egp where it is the third
A6-EN- around 3 years old third generation
A6-EP- in service since 1.2 years and a6-epy still on test flight 4th generation (white screens that you showed in some of your videos)
The pickup at the hotel is a nice touch. From the size of the airport you almost need a limo ride to the gate! The seating arrangement is not ideal and some airlines do it better, but the food looked great.
I love your trip reports, please can you do them more often.
We'll try to post 2 per week but it's a lot of work for us!

ahhh I love Emirates! I hope I can join them as a pilot in the future (when I have enough hours). Have you seen their new 777 business class? It is really a improvement! Are there any trips with Emirates planned for the near future? As always awesome trip report! Really enjoyed it!
The only problem however is the 2-3-2 configuration but still they look comfy
Just a suggestion maybe sooner or later you could possibly to a first class trip on QANTAS
