- In this video I discuss my trip to El Paso last week to spend some time with the Border Patrol and BORTAC unit.
I also discuss an upcoming trip to Colorado Springs to work with the Army.
Also talk about the clean announcement and Chad video with Trista Smith.
Then I dive into last weekends comments.

@@2010broncos1012 from my understanding .... it's specific to each persons account So my top comment will be diff than yours It's not just most likes If you go do it incognito or signed out of RUclips it will be ranked differently

Hey Dave,
My 1000th CrossFit class is coming up. Our gym celebrates this milestone for members by letting them create a workout which everyone runs through that day. The workout is also written on a plaque and placed on a wall in our gym (shout-out CrossFit Ballina, Australia). I know this is the craziest time of the year with the games, but it would be a major dream come true if you helped me write a workout in a few weeks so I could have the tick of approval by TDC on my plaque. Can’t wait for the games, am so stoked to see you back at the helm.
Dave, I think I am one of your niche fans who has watched Crossfit since 2018, but never tried it!
It would be cool if the demo team joined the commentators in the booth to explain what they found to be the crux of the event, what they are going through at each point, etc. I really enjoyed having Lucy Campbell at the European semifinals!
Dave, I heard yet another Tyson Bagent interview during his current training camp making another reference to training via CrossFit. Is there any thought that CrossFit’s media team could follow his journey to wanting to become a starting quarterback with one of the NFL’s most storied franchises? The kid grew up in an affiliate and clearly expresses his passion for the training methodology. I just feel like it’s a massive opportunity to put out a documentary of his journey to grow CrossFit both on the affiliate and sport level. Thoughts?

It’s too late now with Games next week, but imagine if there were true gymnastics inspired events that mimicked the Paris Olympics with the scoring. Would that be something to consider in the future?

@12:36 Regarding the threat posed by transnational organized Olive Oil crime syndicates, I wouldn't worry too much. Although these nefarious groups have well-deserved reputations for violence and viciousness, it's my understanding that they find everyday California regulations and corruption too stifling and intense to compete with. "Game recognizes game." Also, it's said that a few years ago the Mob sent several of their top thugs on "a mission" to the Bay Area only to have them return wearing dresses and complaining about gangster boss microaggressions. So they're out.
Would love to see interviews with the demo team after the games though. That way they can talk about the games and pre games from a demo team perspective like what’s it like to demo and prep for the demos. Just a thought.
Dave - I just looked at the Event Guide app and found our affiliate listed. We will be celebrating 10 years on December 1st!! Such a cool moment to have The Games in our city!

sounds like this camp award is a way to subtly stir up drama between the camps. i love it. now move forward with the camp invitational.
Regarding post-Games interviews, I think top 10 men and women + the demo team would be great.

Hi Dave, two questions: #1 though it was a complete cluster fuck, how likely are we to see crossover double unders? The pegboard destroyed athletes when it was first introduced but the next year we saw the advancement in skill.
#2 would we ever see advanced aquatic skills in the future like what the Deep End Fitness guys do? (Under water farmers carries, under water bobs)

Hey Dave! A note of thanks.... I'm a L2 box owner in the UK and a member of my box posted in our FB group about a "Back to Hockey" summer course - suitable for people who've been out of the game for a while AND complete newbies and I signed-up as the latter, as did a few other members of my box which I was pretty pleased about. At 38, my only experience of hockey was some terrible PE lessons at school which I did my best to play truant from. Fair to say i'm now hooked and I have Greg/CrossFit's Fitness in 100 Words to thank which is cool - "regularly learn and play new sports". My feeling is that we (CrossFit'ers) don't do this enough - do you agree/disagree? What do you think stops us from doing so?
Only doing top 20 for interviews is flawed if someone underperforms and is cut early/doesn’t do very well. An interview with them on WHY they didn’t do well could be excellent imo.
You should just text Hiller weekly and ask him what content he would release if he had your access.

I disagree that Sean needs to come back, he did his job but it is time to move on. He often focused on only the athletes he knew and just said their names over and over. I feel some of the newer commentators talk more about the event and different people's strengths.
