I love his ability. It's simple, easy to understand, unique enough, actually has restrictions to prevent it to becoming too op, and it allows creativity in it's approach. And finally, a perfect match for Yuji as well, considering Yuji is a close range combatant as well

also watching episode 20 animate boogie woogie made me realize it is essentially a battle dance where todo is applauding and clapping for his friends performance in battle. this also lines up with his last quote about “applause coming from the heart” because even though he lost his technique his final applause for his friend helped him win the battle.

A fun detail we see in his fight against Hanami is that he uses Boogie Woogie a few times on Yuji as they charge Hanami after he first reveals the technique. He does this so that Yuji will acclimatise to it prior to being in direct combat. Just another showcase of his wits and supportive nature.
I love Todo and I'm quite sad we've not seen him reappear at all. It seems to me that Gege simply retired him after his role in the story was complete. Unlike Nanami, I think he's been left in limbo in case Gege decides to do something with him. Where as Nanami had already hit a wall both narrative wise and as a sorcerer, Todo has the potential to grow... or just get forgotten about 😔

Didn’t he clap hands with Mahito and activate Boogie Woogie? I imagine if he could get some sort of cursed puppet to replace his hand and interact with the shape of his soul it could revive it. Assuming it’s actually dead and he isn’t just at the point to level up his technique and becoming more intimate with it
I want to see him activate Boogie Woogie by snapping his fingers Thanos-style.
Pretty sure Mahito fucked up the hand he clapped with when Todo did that. You can see his hand smoking afterwards. He'll need to be healed if he wants it back as far as I'm aware.

@@tristendavis2589 Mahito doesn't have flame power. Todo was able to boogie woogie with Mahito once, but says afterwards that his technique is dead. That tells me that doing a boogert woogert with Mahito fucked up his hand.
@@doodmcswood507 he only said boogie woogie as a technique was dead because of his missing hand. Slapping Mahito's hand did fuck up his own, but only physically, shown by the bubbling and scarring on his hand similar to a burn. While the technique is not actually gone, it now only functions as a trick that no opponent would actually let him use twice, meaning he cant rely on it in battle anymore

One of the main reasons he is so strong without being from one of the main families has to do with the fact he was trained by one of the 4 special grade sorcerers in yuki tsukumo so it's not crazy to think he got that strong.
his domain will 100% be takada chans all clapping and cheering for todo allowing him to tp anywhere in the domain
I'd love to see his Domain have a bunch of Idol's that can use boogie Woogie when they clap. So that the ability can come back in a reasonable way.

@@marinodejesus8024 the only thing is that Mahito fucks up the soul, which the body naturally takes the shape of. He didn't cut Todo's arm off-he tried to reform his soul into a pile of gore and only managed to affect his arm. Without a healer with both reversed energy and knowledge of the soul I believe his arm is gone.
Conveniently, Nobara, a beloved character among the fandom, who wields a CT that seems to attack the soul itself via the link between her effigy and the target, is ambiguously between life-and-death. The only way for her to get back up without a skilled healer's help is to piece together a reversed technique in her comatose state that can restore the soul. My theory is that when/if Nobara gets up, she'll have the ability to heal Todo.
All i want from Todo, is for Choso to live long enough to meet him

Choso would probably get HEATED when he hears todo call Yuji his brother but once he finds out the sheer level of W mans energy he has for him especially when they jumped Mahito he’d immediately like him. Todo would definitely ask his type and be absolutely elated when he finds out Choso got passive rizz so potent he would have bagged Yuki, the archetype of him and Yujis cultured taste and simply adopt himself as their 3rd brother then and there.
Might get a little awkward if Choso calls todo his brother while hitting Yuji from the back with flowing red scale stack. Idk if she raised todo after she found him folding fodder as a youngin but she’s like an older sister at LEAST if not a fun wine aunt or something. Todo calling Choso his brother while Choso calling Yuki mommy gotta be one of the most Alabama with extra steps activities lmao. Also imagine seeing Yuji, Choso, todo, AND Yuki jump someone. Unless you’re top 3 you definitely getting folded by that elite lineup I feel like even 15 finger Sukuna might get pressed a bit but I assume he wins every fight until gege gives this mf a real L.

What I like about his character is that it also break a stereotype that exist not just in Manga/Anime but most media. Big, strong man are not portrayed as intelligent in story due to most of the time they're there to satisfy author's insecurity. "that man is physically strong, surely he must be stupid and I must be smarter than he is."
His character feel real. Cuz in reality you don't have limited attribute points and must only choose one or another. It's very realistic to encounter someone who is both stronger and smarter than you. Good physical and intelligence are not opposing factors for real human. In fact they often go hand in hand. If you don't take care of your body, then you're not as smart as you think you are.

Todo is something special. He's intelligent, likable, terrifying, jacked as hell, and above all, he does all that while leveraging his abilities to the fullest as a SUPPORT. He can hit, sure. Tank, sure. But his real passion is taking someone ELSE and making them feel unstoppable through his techniques and coaching. A true Chad to the end.
My favorite Jujutsu Kaisen character so far. He's one of those characters that are simple but still more compelling and more interesting than the other characters.
Todo is what happens when a Fighter multi-classes into Warlock and is able to reach the peak of both.
I now ask strangers what type of women they like, it really is a litmus test of whether they're up front about their desires and passion or they're reserved and shy
I love Todo every time he is on screen in the anime and on panel in the managa he steals the show.
This weeks episode has made this guy my favorite character by far and away

Honestly todos hypothetical domain expansion would be incredible. My reasoning is that, todo can teleport anywhere within range of his domain(since itd be filled with his curse energy), allowing him to move to the edge, have the domain center on him again, move to the edge again, for as long as he can power it. Meaning he could achieve a pseudo flight and super speed. Thats my take on it anyway.
