Many times I have stood up for what was right and principled. With not so good results for me, but I left with my integrity. However, I did learn not to do that in Japan, when there on business. Their traditions are quite different than ours.
My wife often says, “We won the lottery by just being born in the United States”. I agree.
Hope we will still feel like winners when we get through what lies ahead.

In 1987 I worked in a hospital, transporting patients to x-ray and cardiology for testing. Back then I remember Dr. Alcan mentioning several times that sports athletes make more money than he does even though he saved lives. Anyway I liked the ending of this video. I needed to hear this message.

He wasn't speaking to a church full of stay-at-home mothers. He was speaking to women graduates.
If that was my graduation speech, I would feel like I just got slapped in the face.
