Im 50 and there have been few people in my lifetime who made me cry to the point I swore my insides were going to exit my body and Michaels one of those people. Simply cannot believe a human being that loveing, careing, giving and selfless was subjected to the abuse he endured, even after death. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

I didn't know Michael Jackson till he died I was 13 years old...when I asked people about him they was all negative so I decided to research him I now know everything about him and I have a tattoo sleeve of him. To me the reason the allegations came around because he wouldn't sell his 50% of Sony publishing...he was found NOT GUILTY of 10 counts...doesn't that say something 😂😭 I love you Michael you changed my life♥️🇬🇧♥️🇬🇧♥️

I respected Geraldo Rivera he said it best when everyone was doing all these tributes after his death “ where was everyone when he was alive” even madonna said “ we turned our backs on him” it’s so sad what he went through. I don't believe MJ had the energy to fight for himself and his friends simply stayed away because that might hurt their careers. MJ was killed by the tabloids and also the people around him that took advantage of you. Thank you Bill for writing this book. A lot of people lived off of MJ

He was so unfairly judged by people in this life who didn't have the capacity to understand the purity of his soul. He was so pure, he didn't fit into this world. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview with Bill Whitfield. I have read the book many times because it is refreshing to hear about the human side of Michael Jackson. I would have been that fan that would say "I know who you are" and I would smile and walk away. I understand and respect the need for privacy and I would have honored that completely.
I’m not in the MJ fan club, consequently, I am not familiar with much of what you all know. I was one of those teenagers that grew up with an MJ poster in my bedroom. I’ve been on an MJ binge the last few months…..watching his videos as well as learning so much about him. Of all the interviews I’ve seen of MJ’s friends, as well as his family, this is the only one that has made me cry. I’m not sure why that is…but what stands out to me more than anything in this entire interview is that this man, Bill- friend, protector, and confidante, loved Michael. Truly. I am not sure Bill said this, but he wouldn’t need to. As I heard him speak, this fact is conveyed so powerfully and so deeply. I call this sort of friend a soul brother, or a soul sister. Beautiful interview. I’m so happy I was able to watch it. ❤️🙏

I love this. I read the book and loved that as well. This man is very professional and has such great character. I wish MJ had more people like him in his life. He is honest about who MJ was and shows such respect for him. Not because he was famous, but respect for the “man” that MJ truly was. I would love to know what he thinks MJ would think of his children today, who they have become? For example, Prince graduating college and being honored for his philanthropic work.

Great interview with Bill Whitfield, I loved his book about being MJ'S bodyguard. I laughed and cried reading it. So glad they wrote this book for the fans because it shows MJ as the man, as a wonderful father. Also how generous he was giving out thousands of dollars to homeless people. true...i had a chance to attend one of Jehova's witnesses gathering b4 , and seeking true religion, i knw how disciplined thier members always carrying a bible and read them to u page by page....with that,i cn say they believe in One true God in heaven.. Quick Story: I didn't know Michael Jackson until he died I saw the memorial and funeral and started researching him I was around 13 at that time I'm now nearly 25 and I can say I know everything about him...he changed my life and soon I'm going to be doing a dedicated channel to him❤️❤️

I was blessed to have gone to Neverland Valley Ranch a few times back during the trial days and the last time I went, MJ was kind enough to let 40 to 50 (guessing the number) of his fans come into his HOUSE and then the arcade afterwards. I remember while walking around MJs home, I was walking around almost in a trance like state because...Michael Jackson...and my foot bumps into this very large and heavy picture of Janet Jackson that was leaning against a table (it was so heavy it didn't budge) and I walk a little further and I see one of MJs bodyguards, who sees I'm just in awe, walking around in silence, I smile at him and he says, "it's okay...." as if to say, " just enjoy...." with a smile and I would love to think it was Bill! Haha. I think it was! Edit: realizing now that it wasn't Bill because this was during the trial and he wasn't hired on yet.

Mahalo from Hawaii, for this book club interview! I have a Michael Jackson story of my own, that solidified how truly amazing this human being was. In the summer of 1996, Michael Jackson made Hawaii his first History concert tour stop and my 11 yr-old daughter was asked to be a part of the hula group to meet Michael Jackson on Oahu at his private plane's arrival! It was an incredible moment to be able to see this favorite icon of ours, I've always made sure my children knew and loved Michael Jackson's music and believed in his goodness. My little boy was a 4 yr-old with me that day at his arrival and, we had printed out a copy of the Ten Commandments in hopes of giving it to Michael to autograph. It was so much better than that! My son has a special lei to place around his neck and he smiled widely as my little boy starstruck and nervous placed it around him. He patted my son on the head and was the most genuine soul ever that day, and he didn't have to take the time. Then, as he was rushed into his waiting car, my little boy and I ran with my daughter and my niece to see if he would stop for the autograph and he did!! Joseph his father, was with him and a bodyguard and small posse. He was so gracious and amazing and we were on a high for so long after that. I swear I fell in love with Michael Jackson that day. I dreamed of marrying him, even with two kids! I swear I was totally obsessed from that moment. Butterflies and yes, that energy, his light from within. We didn't have tickets to his concert, they had been sold out immediately. That day at the airport was the day before his concert at the Aloha Stadium. We tried once more to call the ticket outlet to get us tickets and suddenly the agent who'd said it was sold out, suddenly stopped and said "I just had four tickets 16th row from the stage open up, do you want them?" And I swear to this day, we screamed our lungs out! We could not believe we were going to his concert! We could see him right up close and that concert was the most MAGICAL and incredible experience of our lives!!!!! We lived on that History Tour HIGH for years, even to this day. Incomparable concert! I still have the concert book, his autograph, and head shot pictures of that plane arrival. Michael Jackson was perfection as a man, a human being, a performer, a singer, an absolute LOVING soul!!! We were featured in the paper that awful day he passed away.... we cried and cried and were devastated, but shared the story I just shared here with you. We wanted EVERYONE to know WHO he was... He was MAGICAL, EVERYTHING!!!!! ABSOLUTELY INCOMPARABLE. Gone too soon and would not hurt a soul..I knew this.

What a true friend to Michael Bill was it was sad hearing him say not anyone wanted to know him before he died and there all at his memorial , why did he have to die the way he did the greatest artist and great human being he gave us music all his life and this is what people did to him , I cried for days when he passed away it still hurts me now I’ll never forget him , thanks bill for sharing these great stories at least you can be at peace now knowing you where always there for him and a true friend

Michael had a good heart and was very different from the rest of the people in show business because of his upbringing and spiritual teachings one of the Jehovah Wittneses trademark is to show LOVE to everyone as Jesus did apply Bible principles be morally clean in all aspects. Michael didn't just preached it he applied it everything he learned in the Bible. He was to clean and good hearted for this world that is mentally perverted and sick. Mj book club , past two days I was watching constantly your podcast with lisa and Jodi then with bill whitfield and I feel I'm most close to Michael spiritualy after that,its so precious to learn about his very personal details from the people so close to him other than his family,especially Bill because he was the most closest person other than his children was there for Micheal during his last years, I'm definitely going to buy his book very soon,I want to know and hope he was happy most of the times during his last years, Michael is the greatest artist,humanitarian, philanthropist and simply an innocent, kind and a wonderful person, learning about him through the people who were closest to him feels like we know him personally, that's the greatest gift we fans treasure close to our hearts, thank you so much for doing this mj book club, we are always grateful to your team,please continue this journey for Michael 's legacy,love you more!❤✌👍🙏

great book. its the easiest book to read ive read in a long time. i guarantee you wont put it down. it gives a great insight into michael the person, father, friend, how his business affairs seemed like a mess, how people viewed him as a cash cow, how people abandoned him and michael the entertainer. its a great book and a must read for everyone- not just mj fans.
I'm just now running across this page and I must say that I actually want to start the video all over again 🤗. This was an awesome interview and I finally watched the movie a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love. The movie was very intense and had me at the edge of the chair the entire time and the book has now been added to my Amazon cart !! It is such a warm delightful feeling to hear people talk about Michael who actually knew him and could give us details about his life, whether it was the happy or sad times, bc its real and genuine. I totally agree with Bill in regards to defending Michael's legacy bc , I defended him while he was here and will continue to ride for his legacy until my last breath. I finally came to a point in my life, that I refuse to get my BP up and argue with people that only have negative things to say or ask stupid ass questions regarding Michael, bc there is no convincing them. I just look at them like their crazy and don't respond to their accusations bc I'm not going to entertain the bull**** 😕. Michael's life for the most part seemed to have been blissful up until he was 35, then his last 15 yrs were turmoil😞. I literally will be 35 this month and I can only dream of the things that Michael has seen and experienced, but just to think that my life has been pretty ok for 35 yrs then boom the next 15 yrs are going to be a hell storm, I can't imagine that. I've always wished that I were one of the lucky people to meet him so he could hold me in his arms to make me feel safe, but in reality he was the one who needed to be hugged and feel safe in someone's arms. Were coming up on 13 yrs since his passing and it still leaves me in disbelief that he's no longer here with us. It's crazy bc 50 yrs old is so young and I hope in his passing that he could feel the energy from his real fans, realized that he was never alone and took our love with him❤. I love you so much Michael and I can't wait to hold you in my arms once I meet up with you in the stars🥰.

I loved the book… preordered it before it came out. It was devastatingly sad and angered me often, learning of the financial greed that surrounded him and took advantage at every opportunity, and his intense loneliness… SMDH. Heartbreaking. I don’t get how so much of the world saw him as something less than a human being … this talk about “humanizing him” always surprises me. The world treated him so strangely. Poor Mike. Feel so connected with the energy that he transmitting of MJ.....it's so awesome positive and beautifully spiritually elevated.I'm dead die- heart fan of MJ ever since 1996(13yrs) & Now I'm 42 yrs old in year '24. My love craziness n respect for MJ is just increasing as time passing.I was really upset for all dirt thrown on him😢,my soul didn't accepted. Now universe making arrangements for putting all that was needed for proving MJ's innocence - I feel it's really too late - we getting to know the reality after paying a heavy cost of Losing our Innocent MJ...😢😢. I wish these things would had been released and reveled when he was alive. We all could have seen him smiling happy n beautifully living a life that he was looking forward with kids and parents n aging n getting his kids married....etc.... MJ was Divine Universe child- purely divine n untouched by malignancy of materialistic world - which people around him tried doing ever since he was into the business in very professional way. I'm dead sure universe will not spare who so ever......kept trying......to malign MJ when he was alive n yet now when he no more n those who desperately wanted him to shut for ever. Universe is getting these people's grave ready in most unimaginable brutal way. We all are human........and we when deserves the right to live the life way we want with respect and dignity.......so also goes for all the Stars ....MJ n many others who had the intention to just give n share with what divine has blessed as Gift. And not everyone can be the chosen one to serve humanity for Universe. MJ was the one....this my soul n heart says.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ It hurts when people even if they hear negative - y can't they try searching n researching the reality of the person in deep......yes we all are human n are meant to make mistakes - in MJ case he couldn't put a line for what to shown in media n what to kept behind the curtain, he was so innocent he had been like a child whatever he had he put all for everyone to see-All the devils manipulated him so deep. The known interviewer literally killed him.... really have disrespect and anger for those interviewers. They could have been really supportive tool for him to make world to know - MJ was being Maligned and his image being tarnished by Devil's around him.The mistake MJ did was focused on his craft n keep on doing good and ignoring all the dirt that's was being created. This made him gigantic entertainers for more 100 yrs to come.... above all he was the best human we all got. Just love him so much.....I wish MJ seeing all this n receiving ouf love n blessings. Im 50 and there have been few people in my lifetime who made me cry to the point I swore my insides were going to exit my body and Michaels one of those people. This is why they eventually fired Mr WHITFIELD, AFTER doing all those things to him to make him quit the job even going as far as suggesting that he quit the job because he WASN'T receiving his pay on time,(which as FAR as I know ,was their own fault) , and then eventually firing Mr WHITFIELD , and hiring those ghoulish SECURITY ASSHOLES, in his PLACE ,AFTER ALL THE GRIMY , MIXED UP , CHAOS.. Mr Whitfield is a gentleman, a fine man. One of the few decent people that we know of that were in Michael’s inner circle.
I don't believe MJ had the energy to fight for himself and his friends simply stayed away because that might hurt their careers. MJ was killed by the tabloids and also the people around him that took advantage of you. Thank you Bill for writing this book. A lot of people lived off of MJ
Michael Jackson was the kind of man every single man should aspire to be. Humble, gracious, giving, loving, gentle. He was so unfairly judged by people in this life who didn't have the capacity to understand the purity of his soul. He was so pure, he didn't fit into this world. I’m not in the MJ fan club, consequently, I am not familiar with much of what you all know. I was one of those teenagers that grew up with an MJ poster in my bedroom. I’ve been on an MJ binge the last few months…..watching his videos as well as learning so much about him. Of all the interviews I’ve seen of MJ’s friends, as well as his family, this is the only one that has made me cry. I’m not sure why that is…but what stands out to me more than anything in this entire interview is that this man, Bill- friend, protector, and confidante, loved Michael. Truly. I am not sure Bill said this, but he wouldn’t need to. As I heard him speak, this fact is conveyed so powerfully and so deeply. I call this sort of friend a soul brother, or a soul sister. Beautiful interview. I’m so happy I was able to watch it. ❤️🙏

I love this. I read the book and loved that as well. This man is very professional and has such great character. I wish MJ had more people like him in his life. He is honest about who MJ was and shows such respect for him. Not because he was famous, but respect for the “man” that MJ truly was. I would love to know what he thinks MJ would think of his children today, who they have become? For example, Prince graduating college and being honored for his philanthropic work.

true...i had a chance to attend one of Jehova's witnesses gathering b4 , and seeking true religion, i knw how disciplined thier members always carrying a bible and read them to u page by page....with that,i cn say they believe in One true God in heaven.. Mj was always qouted saying ...God! dedicated his craft and victories to God...he always memtion God in his many award winning moment of hs lifetime...

Quick Story: I didn't know Michael Jackson until he died I saw the memorial and funeral and started researching him I was around 13 at that time I'm now nearly 25 and I can say I know everything about him...he changed my life and soon I'm going to be doing a dedicated channel to him❤️❤️

I was blessed to have gone to Neverland Valley Ranch a few times back during the trial days and the last time I went, MJ was kind enough to let 40 to 50 (guessing the number) of his fans come into his HOUSE and then the arcade afterwards. I remember while walking around MJs home, I was walking around almost in a trance like state because...Michael Jackson...and my foot bumps into this very large and heavy picture of Janet Jackson that was leaning against a table (it was so heavy it didn't budge) and I walk a little further and I see one of MJs bodyguards, who sees I'm just in awe, walking around in silence, I smile at him and he says, "it's okay...." as if to say, " just enjoy...." with a smile and I would love to think it was Bill! Haha. I think it was! Edit: realizing now that it wasn't Bill because this was during the trial and he wasn't hired on yet.

Mahalo from Hawaii, for this book club interview! I have a Michael Jackson story of my own, that solidified how truly amazing this human being was. In the summer of 1996, Michael Jackson made Hawaii his first History concert tour stop and my 11 yr-old daughter was asked to be a part of the hula group to meet Michael Jackson on Oahu at his private plane's arrival! It was an incredible moment to be able to see this favorite icon of ours, I've always made sure my children knew and loved Michael Jackson's music and believed in his goodness. My little boy was a 4 yr-old with me that day at his arrival and, we had printed out a copy of the Ten Commandments in hopes of giving it to Michael to autograph. It was so much better than that! My son has a special lei to place around his neck and he smiled widely as my little boy starstruck and nervous placed it around him. He patted my son on the head and was the most genuine soul ever that day, and he didn't have to take the time. Then, as he was rushed into his waiting car, my little boy and I ran with my daughter and my niece to see if he would stop for the autograph and he did!! Joseph his father, was with him and a bodyguard and small posse. He was so gracious and amazing and we were on a high for so long after that. I swear I fell in love with Michael Jackson that day. I dreamed of marrying him, even with two kids! I swear I was totally obsessed from that moment. Butterflies and yes, that energy, his light from within. We didn't have tickets to his concert, they had been sold out immediately. That day at the airport was the day before his concert at the Aloha Stadium. We tried once more to call the ticket outlet to get us tickets and suddenly the agent who'd said it was sold out, suddenly stopped and said "I just had four tickets 16th row from the stage open up, do you want them?" And I swear to this day, we screamed our lungs out! We could not believe we were going to his concert! We could see him right up close and that concert was the most MAGICAL and incredible experience of our lives!!!!! We lived on that History Tour HIGH for years, even to this day. Incomparable concert! I still have the concert book, his autograph, and head shot pictures of that plane arrival. Michael Jackson was perfection as a man, a human being, a performer, a singer, an absolute LOVING soul!!! We were featured in the paper that awful day he passed away.... we cried and cried and were devastated, but shared the story I just shared here with you. We wanted EVERYONE to know WHO he was... He was MAGICAL, EVERYTHING!!!!! ABSOLUTELY INCOMPARABLE. Gone too soon and would not hurt a soul..I knew this.

What a true friend to Michael Bill was it was sad hearing him say not anyone wanted to know him before he died and there all at his memorial , why did he have to die the way he did the greatest artist and great human being he gave us music all his life and this is what people did to him , I cried for days when he passed away it still hurts me now I’ll never forget him , thanks bill for sharing these great stories at least you can be at peace now knowing you where always there for him and a true friend

I am happy to hear about Friend and Flower. Debbie Rowe always referred to their friendship. Pity Lisa Marie didn't have much more patience and commitment. She, as well as his lawyers advised MJ to settle the first allegations out of court.

Michael had a good heart and was very different from the rest of the people in show business because of his upbringing and spiritual teachings one of the Jehovah Wittneses trademark is to show LOVE to everyone as Jesus did apply Bible principles be morally clean in all aspects. Michael didn't just preached it he applied it everything he learned in the Bible. He was to clean and good hearted for this world that is mentally perverted and sick. Someone who's decent and has moral values like Michael are seen as weird.

Mj book club , past two days I was watching constantly your podcast with lisa and Jodi then with bill whitfield and I feel I'm most close to Michael spiritualy after that,its so precious to learn about his very personal details from the people so close to him other than his family,especially Bill because he was the most closest person other than his children was there for Micheal during his last years, I'm definitely going to buy his book very soon,I want to know and hope he was happy most of the times during his last years, Michael is the greatest artist,humanitarian, philanthropist and simply an innocent, kind and a wonderful person, learning about him through the people who were closest to him feels like we know him personally, that's the greatest gift we fans treasure close to our hearts, thank you so much for doing this mj book club, we are always grateful to your team,please continue this journey for Michael 's legacy,love you more!❤✌👍🙏

great book. its the easiest book to read ive read in a long time. i guarantee you wont put it down. it gives a great insight into michael the person, father, friend, how his business affairs seemed like a mess, how people viewed him as a cash cow, how people abandoned him and michael the entertainer.
its a great book and a must read for everyone- not just mj fans.

I'm just now running across this page and I must say that I actually want to start the video all over again 🤗. This was an awesome interview and I finally watched the movie a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love. The movie was very intense and had me at the edge of the chair the entire time and the book has now been added to my Amazon cart !! It is such a warm delightful feeling to hear people talk about Michael who actually knew him and could give us details about his life, whether it was the happy or sad times, bc its real and genuine.
I totally agree with Bill in regards to defending Michael's legacy bc , I defended him while he was here and will continue to ride for his legacy until my last breath. I finally came to a point in my life, that I refuse to get my BP up and argue with people that only have negative things to say or ask stupid ass questions regarding Michael, bc there is no convincing them. I just look at them like their crazy and don't respond to their accusations bc I'm not going to entertain the bull**** 😕.
Michael's life for the most part seemed to have been blissful up until he was 35, then his last 15 yrs were turmoil😞. I literally will be 35 this month and I can only dream of the things that Michael has seen and experienced, but just to think that my life has been pretty ok for 35 yrs then boom the next 15 yrs are going to be a hell storm, I can't imagine that. I've always wished that I were one of the lucky people to meet him so he could hold me in his arms to make me feel safe, but in reality he was the one who needed to be hugged and feel safe in someone's arms. Were coming up on 13 yrs since his passing and it still leaves me in disbelief that he's no longer here with us. It's crazy bc 50 yrs old is so young and I hope in his passing that he could feel the energy from his real fans, realized that he was never alone and took our love with him❤. I love you so much Michael and I can't wait to hold you in my arms once I meet up with you in the stars🥰.

Bill, I just listened to this interview and made the comment previously. I think the Motown position had a bit to do with your hire. But I see you as a man of integrity and loyalty and I'm sure that was very evident to MJ as you became a big part of his life. Thank you for what you did and what you are doing now. It warms my heart.
I loved the book… preordered it before it came out. It was devastatingly sad and angered me often, learning of the financial greed that surrounded him and took advantage at every opportunity, and his intense loneliness… SMDH. Heartbreaking.
I don’t get how so much of the world saw him as something less than a human being … this talk about “humanizing him” always surprises me. The world treated him so strangely. Poor Mike.

Feel so connected with the energy that he transmitting of MJ.....it's so awesome positive and beautifully spiritually elevated.I'm dead die- heart fan of MJ ever since 1996(13yrs) & Now I'm 42 yrs old in year '24. My love craziness n respect for MJ is just increasing as time passing.I was really upset for all dirt thrown on him😢,my soul didn't accepted.
Now universe making arrangements for putting all that was needed for proving MJ's innocence - I feel it's really too late - we getting to know the reality after paying a heavy cost of Losing our Innocent MJ...😢😢. I wish these things would had been released and reveled when he was alive.
We all could have seen him smiling happy n beautifully living a life that he was looking forward with kids and parents n aging n getting his kids married....etc....
MJ was Divine Universe child- purely divine n untouched by malignancy of materialistic world - which people around him tried doing ever since he was into the business in very professional way.
I'm dead sure universe will not spare who so ever......kept trying......to malign MJ when he was alive n yet now when he no more n those who desperately wanted him to shut for ever.
Universe is getting these people's grave ready in most unimaginable brutal way.
We all are human........and we when deserves the right to live the life way we want with respect and dignity.......so also goes for all the Stars ....MJ n many others who had the intention to just give n share with what divine has blessed as Gift. And not everyone can be the chosen one to serve humanity for Universe. MJ was the one....this my soul n heart says.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It hurts when people even if they hear negative - y can't they try searching n researching the reality of the person in deep......yes we all are human n are meant to make mistakes - in MJ case he couldn't put a line for what to shown in media n what to kept behind the curtain, he was so innocent he had been like a child whatever he had he put all for everyone to see-All the devils manipulated him so deep. The known interviewer literally killed him.... really have disrespect and anger for those interviewers.
They could have been really supportive tool for him to make world to know - MJ was being Maligned and his image being tarnished by Devil's around him.The mistake MJ did was focused on his craft n keep on doing good and ignoring all the dirt that's was being created. This made him gigantic entertainers for more 100 yrs to come.... above all he was the best human we all got. Just love him so much.....I wish MJ seeing all this n receiving ouf love n blessings.
