As a Dutch Voter, I have my opinion about these 4. VVD wasn't Center Right under it's previous leader, under Rutte it was Leftist Liberal and a Direct Extension of the EU!!! Under Yazilgoz, you can place her in Centre Right, but I still have my doubts. Yazilgoz was part of the last Cabinet, and she did some nasty stuff we later come to known, spying on her own people. Look out for this one!!! To give her some credit, unlike her predecessor, she does listen to her supporters, and I respect that!!! NSC is still hard to place, Left or Right. We still Haven't seen much from them, since they are a New Party. Pieter is a good debater, he's also good with Substantive issues, but there is a downside to this man. He is quickly overworked, unlike the other 3 party leaders. We have now seen him in the opposition, let's see what he will do now that he is in the coalition!!! BBB is a Right-Wing Populist party, but don't let the name scare you, this party has some content and works good with Substantive issues. Caroline is also the kind of woman who brings you back to the topic when you've wandered off. She is also the kind of woman who does not allow herself to be insulted and remains very decent and mature if you try!!! I even think that she's the reason that this formation worked!!! She's a good spirit to have around and brings positive energy!!! PVV is not an extreme Far Right party, not if you compare it with how far the Left Socialist party has gone. GL/PVDA and D66 have gone far more to the left than PVV have gone to the right, you can see that by just taking a look at how fare the Left are willing to push Migration and Multiculturalism on our Society. The Left Dutch parties are as Extreme Left as the Democrats in the US!!! You can also take a look at their supporters, those are far more extreme than PVV supporters. A view days back they destroyed the UVA (University of Amsterdam) just because of the War in Palestine!!! (The only one who call PVV ''Far Right'' or ''Extreme Right'' are the Left!!! The good thing is tha Netherlands is a net contributor, so the usual EU threats wont be as effective. The usual EU pirates blackmail wont hold as much weight as when they threaten Poland or Bulgaria or Italy . Go Holland!
Eu once was created for economic and defence. We need cooparation. Not a political union with a stadium in Brussels with 1000 bureaucrats working on their carreers instead of the people
If the EU wants to survive it must abolish the unanimity voting rule. One nation's rejection of progress should not hinder the whole of what is supposed to become a Civilization-state.
Reading these comments is just further proof that people like you and in our government don't give a hit about what their citizens actually want. The large majority of EU citizens don't want an EU state. It was promised throughout the integration proces that the EU would never become a federal state. People like you and in the EU institution lie to the people to push your sick worldview, but people are starting to notice, which is why what you call ''far-right'' will and is winning terrain in all of Europe.
Not everybody wants to live in the United States, mate. If that rule is abolished, it will simply mean whenever a country gets overruled by majority vote for more integration, it gives them more reason to leave the EU entirely. The Netherlands is the largest per-capita contributor to the EU budget by a very large margin and controls access to the largest port on the continent. You dont want us to leave. We dont want to leave. So compromises will have to be made. We have spent our entire existence fighting for independence against the Germans, (well, the HRE mostly) the French, the Spanish and the British. We're not just going to roll over and give up our nation because somebody else voted for it. There are many points of integration the Netherlands does support. We are one of the founding members, and the free traffic of people, goods, services, and capital has benefited us greatly. Even the money we give to other countries for free is a benefit for us. We would also likely be in favor of one EU army and further integration of finance and foreign policy ministries, in which we usually have to set the right example anyway. But turning the EU into one nation state is something you will find little support for in any country. Even Germany.
Which kind of progress is it to undermine and finally abolish the sovereignty and the national identities of the EU member-states ? It's not what i would call " progress" !
@@choonbox 23% actually. And currently at around 50 seats in the polls, so that would be around 33%. @FowerpullCrenbarry check the statistics of crime rates in Eurostat the biggest offenders are Muslims And yes it is common sense to ban public gatherings of people who view women as cattle
The problem is with these kinds of coalitions is that the views are so wide apart that it wouldn't take much in new future policies for it to all fall apart. It's very likely that many policies within the coalition will get watered down to win enough support to get things done, or if any of the coalition partners play hard ball, it could be enough for the government to fall apart. It's going to be interesting to see over the coming months and years but I suspect it's not going to be as big of a deal as some think it will be because there are too many voices pulling in many directions and it wouldn't take much for them to fall out. Either way, moderate parties are successful because they moderate their policies to be more accommodating with more of the public and more people in government, basically, when it comes to the crunch of pushing for policy change, I suspect that's when things will get difficult in that there will likely be a lot of compromises and watering down of the policies, so much so that I don't think this is an issue for the EU at all, no different from how many of the other so-called radical parties that gained power have not really been that big of a deal throughout the EU. Still, we'll see over the coming months and years, but we've heard this time and time again, Italy is a prime example and yet, you wouldn't think it but the Italian government comes across as quite moderate that gets along quite well with the EU, probably because political reality kicks in on what they can realistically do, after all, it's far easier to talk on what you want to do when not in power, it's another story when in power that you have to be careful on your policy choices and have to keep the voting public onside, which most are moderates.
EU should do the following: 1. Dissolve EU parliament 2. Stop Euro currency 3. Create Schengen zone for free borders only for European citizens for work & pleasure 4. Try to create a European army to prevent bullying from Russians or Americans 5. No citizenship or voting rights ever for non-European people. 6. If workers are needed, have Dubai like laws for work permits. 6. Have Singapore like strict laws & improve law& order situation. 7. Stop advising the world & fix themselves
You're conflating the EU with current EU policy. EU policy is always subject to change. The coalition agreement specifically states that the Netherlands seeks to change the current EU immigration through coordination with the other member states rather than rile against it. That's what the EU was originally meant for. To state that seeking change through the formal processes puts one at odds with the EU just goes to show how deep the rot has crept.

EU should go back to being a trading agreement as it was intended. Creating borderless migrant homestay program will otherwise destroy the EU completely.
The member states can do a lot to keep migrants out if they want to. Turns out that many in the West didn’t want to. That’s not the fault of the EU. I personally wish they would do a lot more.
PVV is not far-right. They are mainstream right on themes like migration, the EU and climate change, and left on socio-economic themes. I'm quite surprised about the desire of so many people to have Ukraine included in the EU. Why on earth would it serve the interests of EU-citizens to have a country so plagued by corruption and mismanagement included in the EU. Especially given the departure of the UK, it would further shift the balance of power towards less well governed countries in south and eastern Europe.
@autumnjacaranda106 seems the mainstream "right"'s main idea is being against mass immigration and enforcing border controls. This idea used to be a neutral concept going back 20 or 30 years. @@FlamingBasketballClub With Belgian domestic politics, it makes some sense but for the EU I agree with you
As a Dutch Voter, I have my opinion about these 4.
The Far-Leftist Party GL/PVDA has become a one issue party, their only issue has become Wilders).
PVV Geert Wilders is fighting for the people for 18 years now, after such a long period you know he's the right choice!!!
I voted PVV.
He can make mistakes, but we need to handle migration better then Merkel

@@thevoid5503 Yes. Because those who voted hard right did so to:
- tackle illegal immigration (before it gets worse)
- protect the farmers, aka their secure source of food
- likely other reasons that don't come to my mind

But, of course, this is just reason.
It seems you forget something, Wilders is by far the biggest in the polls, so if the governments falls, Wilders will be the biggest again, bigger than before.

COMMON SENSE is making a comeback worldwide!
Or just abolish rights of what is becoming a failed empire
Which kind of progress is it to undermine and finally abolish the sovereignty and the national identities of the EU member-states ?
It's not what i would call " progress" !

And yes it is common sense to ban public gatherings of people who view women as cattle
@FowerpullCrenbarrythey dropped that idea to win more supporters
EU should do the following:
1. Dissolve EU parliament
2. Stop Euro currency
3. Create Schengen zone for free borders only for European citizens for work & pleasure
4. Try to create a European army to prevent bullying from Russians or Americans
Now there are six very SMART OBJECTIVES. Too bad other governments see how sensible this is.
Netherlands is very smart planning ❤

Only the story about the climate is a bit out of context. He doenst oppose the climate funds. They will only make sure that the Netherlands wont be a front runner when it comes to actions against climate change, but instead walk on the same pace as the average EU member to achieve the EU goals. The previous Dutch cabinet however, wanted to achieve more than the EU goals and to be an example to the rest of the world. So this wont happen anymore now. But they will build 4 nuclear reactors and many windparks on the sea. So yeah, they are still investing a lot of money in the energy transition.

BBB is not right wing populist party. It is a party that focusses on interests of farmers and rural communities.
They are. They literally supported Geert Wilders in becoming the PM. They host many previous PVV and JA21 members and MPs too. They support many right-wing policies such as euroscepticism and climate scepticism (including opposition against wind turbines).
@@scientia8442 Do you think that the energy transition in the Netherlands is a success? Electricity grid capacity problems, feed-in fines for private solar panel owners, the countryside is filled with wind turbines and solar parks causing inconvenience and at the expense of nature, electric cars are less environmentally friendly than expected. We do not have enough electricity in winter to replace gas. In general wishful thinking and symbolism. So very good that new parties exist with fresh, realistic ideas.

I don't know about all the countries in the EU but the UK never had a vote on joining the EU, in 1973 we had a referendum to ask if we wanted to join the EEC, European Economic Community ie a common market, we were railroaded into the EU without a vote in 1993 probably like most other countries, but thankfully when we had a vote on weather we wanted to stay in the EU in 2016 the answer was NO but the UK establishment wasn't going to except that and has put spanner after spanner in the works to stop it happening ever since and will do every thing in their power to get us back in

EU should go back to being a trading agreement as it was intended. Creating borderless migrant homestay program will otherwise destroy the EU completely.
The member states can do a lot to keep migrants out if they want to. Turns out that many in the West didn’t want to. That’s not the fault of the EU.

OK, so you have the PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB, but what about the BBC and ACDC?
PVV is not far-right. They are mainstream right on themes like migration, the EU and climate change, and left on socio-economic themes. I'm quite surprised about the desire of so many people to have Ukraine included in the EU. Why on earth would it serve the interests of EU-citizens to have a country so plagued by corruption and mismanagement included in the EU. Especially given the departure of the UK, it would further shift the balance of power towards less well governed countries in south and eastern Europe.
The mainstream right would have been considered far right ten years ago.
@autumnjacaranda106 seems the mainstream "right"'s main idea is being against mass immigration and enforcing border controls. This idea used to be a neutral concept going back 20 or 30 years. It appears to me that the "right" on this issue hasn't really moved or changed.
So, it either means everyone was "far right" at one point or that wasn't the case so it isn't the case now.
