This week’s video is a tour of our new to us Motorhome, Millie. As the title says she is a Burstner Lyseo Harmony TD 690G motorhome and she is fab! Hi Robin 👋🏻 She is great and yes that toilet lighting works a treat 😂 We've fitted an internal bike rack into the garage now which works well and still have loads of unused space inside. That’s one of the best van tour videos I’ve seen. We are very jealous of the massive fridge. It’s enormous compared to ours 😄
Awhh thank you 😊 We realised after we hadn't covered the cab area and we have a great CD/DVD player there so we could watch different movies 😂 The fridge is great - just need to stack things to make use of all the space. Thank you for watching, hope you're enjoying Scotland 🏴 Amanda & Mark 😍

Hi, I would just like to thank you for helping us to come to a decision regarding our new motor home. We previously owned an A class Rapido, which we swapped for a Wildax camper that we love, but after 9 years and 60,000, we are ready to change. We were swithering between a Hymer or a Burstner, but after some research and watching your enlightening vlog, we have decided to go with the Burstner. Your vlog allowed us to look inside this van and we could clearly see ourselves living in it. Thank you for your honest review and tour. We hope you have many happy tours in your new van. We can't wait to collect ours when we return to the UK in November. We may even see you down the road!
Hi Liz, thank you so much for your comment 😊 We are so pleased that our video was able to help you make that decision especially if you're going to be living in it! There is so much space inside, a lot of which we haven't even used yet! We're still getting used to the kitchen space but are looking at possibly getting a shelf added above the seats.
We've been away to Scotland in Millie since that video and to a music festival and a few weekends away so we're definitely enjoying been away in her.
I hope you're new one takes you on lots of fabulous adventures and makes lots of memories for you like your olds one have.

Hi Andrew, thank you 😊 She does look so much bigger doesn’t she!!! She’s only a metre longer but she is about 15 cms wider and 20 cms higher. She has just taken us all the way to Scotland and back on her first proper adventure but loads more to come. Thank you for watching, have a good week - Amanda & Mark 😍

@@andrewmcvey5680 Hi so sorry didn’t see this comment as it got caught up in my spam for some reason 🤷♀️ My parents and sister live in Scotland but in a town so never had issues with midgies there but we did do the NC500 this time of year two years ago and did experience them a couple of times but but they just kept us inside Indie for one night and made is move on from a possible park up to a camp site instead. We never got bitten so thats a bonus 😂. You won’t regret getting a motorhome/camper especially if you are retired - you’ll be able to head of anywhere at anytime and enjoy many many adventures 😍
Lovely van, we have a Burstner to. Ours is a bit older but they are well put together.
Hi Kevin! Oh wow that's good to hear! We've had a few issues with things but they're getting sorted. We've also just arranged to have air suspension installed to help us get up the drive and apparently give us nicer handling. Is yours a Harmony Line? We saw some Harmony Gallery ones at the show today and they have inflatable pop up bedrooms over the cab!! Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍

Loving Millie she’s a beauty inside and out, can I ask where you purchased those plastic boxes with the handle on, just what I need as our cupboards are a bit high up to, I was looking to see if anyone else as asked and came across you might be thinking of touring Brittany a bit more one place I can recommend is Carnac beautiful town only small but plenty there, we love it can’t wait to go back to be honest 😊😊
Hi 👋🏻 We got the boxes from B&M, don’t think they were very expensive either with is always a bonus 😂. Need to decide how we’re going to store things in that large underfloor bit in the kitchen 🤔 Yes I was looking at Brittany today, but it will depend on the cost, so far I’ve looked at the ferry and its nearly £600 but I guess if we find really cheap places to stay then that would be ok. Thanks Linda 😊 We’re both really impressed with the quality of the build - the kitchen cupboard and drawers are better than the ones in our house 😂 We had planned to go to Annecy in April but may have to change that as we only have a week’s leave so I’m wondering whether to explore Brittany a bit more - any suggestions? Hi, yes thats right, the standard plating is 3500kg. Millie was up-plated prior to us buying her although we had issues with that after because she was on a private number plate! Thank you for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Hi Mark and Amanda we have the same layout as yours, a 2020 plate. Please can I ask do you have any issues with the shower door being tight as you rotate it? We have tried silicone spray to no avail. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks John
Hi John thanks for getting in touch. We haven't had any problems so far! Was it like that from the moment you bought it or has it happened over time? The only problem we have had with our shower is the tray has cracked near the door/toilet!! Have you ever had anything like that happen? Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Thanks for the reply, the stiffness gradually came about with the shower door. I didn't use wd40 as it can attack certain grades of rubber seal. Thankfully no splits in the tray though. What year is yours?, we bought ours new in 2020. Apart from a thule step done under warranty, and a kitchen tap leaking just after warranty, it's been plain sailing. John
Mark now I think about it, I poured hot water around the bottom of the aluminium tube of the shower door then blew it out with my airline, some gunk came out and then it was easier. I guess I need to try it again!
