I Have an Stealth LT (same guitar than yours but with a figured maple top) really nice and underrated guitars. The only downside with them it's that the hardware don't last 30 years haha, I swapped the Takeuchi tremolo for a Schaller one and the tuners for a Gotoh locking set and It's totally flawless right now. Great video!
@@fredericadda the regular Schaller tremolo will fit without any modification, you might need to carve some wood just to fit the bar insert, but it's a matter of a pair of millimeters in the worst case. Take note about the locking nut, you're gonna need to sand It because the Jackson one doesn't have the same height if you need to swap It (applies to Schaller and Floyd Rose nut)
Well as with all licensed bridges, its quality is very inconsistent. The baseplate is fine, the studs look solid but the saddles are very low quality. Also the bar is screwed in, which is not very convenient but does the job. I would say it belongs to the low-medium range of licensed Floyd bridges.
love your work and your video but it makes me feel bad because i have two guitars to work on but i don't know how and i'm lazy. i promise someday i will.
Thanks for sharing this! I have this guitar in the stone finish. I love it!
Amazing! It's more rare than the black one!
I have a lefty of this guitar (also black) which I got new in '97, nice guitar, very light
Very cool !!! ❤
Very nice video! Very professional restoration !
Thanks Marcelo! You saw firsthand what the guitar looked like during Hellfest 😄
Awesome
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Thanks! I am considering swapping the bridge too, it might improve the tone, but I think the frets need some work first

@jesus-ATW good to know, thanks!
What do you think about the Floyd from Jackson on this guitar ?

Thanks! Don't feel bad, it took me two months to do the repair and the video 😅
