Definitely have to have the sharpie, I carry one everyday that I'm working also. For me I typically carry a Open Pro or the Fenix pen in the vehicle, but in the pocket I normally have the Open Mini also.
A sharpie is just so underrated in a carry, it's why I love these mini ones. I mean, I use them ALL DAY, but even just needing one once in a while, it's awesome to have it handy. And the O'pen is definitely a winner
Glad to see you're back! I've been missing your videos. Zebra pens are my favorite go-to pens. The F-301 Compact was my daily carry for a decade. For business, the Zebra F-701 is my current favorite for a full-size pen.
I love all of them lol I've just assembled them over the last year and realized I actually have enough to do a full video. Pens/pencils aren't really exciting per say, but they are an integral part of my, and MANY people's, carry.
Thanks! I just realized at this point, like I do all my random EDC junk, that I have enough variety to do a decent multi point video. And while pens may not be exciting, they're literally an item I will delay leaving the house over until I have one!
The O'pen is so solid, it's easy to JUST use that. All day writing I prefer the Pokka or Zebra just because they can be full size, but you can't go wrong with the Mini
“Lasts 3 times through the washer” 😂 Did you say “hands on your junk” 🤔😂. My favorite pen or pencil is whatever I have handy, lol. Seriously though, I don’t need anything fancy or flashy. Good video of “common man” pens buddy, thanks!
Thanks for checking it out! These are just the ones in my pockets or pouch/bag, but yeah- I'm definitely a "whatever's in reach" kind of guy. My work desk is littered with pens, and yet, I still always seem to be without one. It's WHY I've got to carry 2 on me at least 😂
I have an Altoids tin full of small pencils I've collected from Ikea. I too keep a pencil handy. Pilot has (or had) the G2 07 mini lead mechanical pencil that looks to be a little larger than the one from your Dollar Tree kit (about 4.75" long). Amazon has several mini mechanical pencils available too. I recently started buying the mini-Sharpies and keep one in each of my EDC pouches. I have just about every color Olight Mini OPen and love those. Olight used to offer free refill packs with every order up to a couple years ago, so I'm stocked up on those. The Pokka Pens are awesome, but I only carry the Rite-In-Rain versions. I'll have to look into the Nite-Eyz Inka, but that Zebra has my full attention!
Two pens in my pocket, one in my phone case, one in each Victorinox I have on/near by me. The same coworkers who say I carry too many pens always ask me for one to borrow when they failed to plan.

Well I WAS a fan of the Zebra 301. You could get packs of two at WallyWorld but I don't see them anymore. I had several, but the wife disappeared them all over the years. "Sides now I'm a big kid rockin a Pakka and I don't loan that to anyone. NO!
Great video..Thank you for the tag and mention!

Thank you! Glad to BE back! The Zebra has really surprised me with how reliable it's been for sure.
Some must haves there. Great video!

14:58 Conan!
😂
Thanks for the video-always well thought out.
I don’t know of any other pens besides what you already mentioned-I use an O’Pen.
🤣 I legit didn't realize I said it and even missed it in the edit! Hopefully I still slide by without a content warning strike 😂

OMG the EDU/school supply crossover is triggering my shopping impulses!
I mean, part of the joy of EDC is in fact shopping and collecting 😄

I only wish the write in the rain came in different colors, but they're all great to use. I think you won't be disappointed with the Zebra
Lol bro since you were off I haven’t seen one pokka video 😂 here we go lol
Glad to be back and bringing you the content you missed so much 😉😂

My wife says the same, and yet ALWAYS asks to borrow a pen 😂

Picked up a Kaweco Liliput a bit ago. I can say it’s a definite 🫤 meh. Great video!!
Thanks!
