me, who unironically enjoys gambit, did it on all three character, and the hardest part was to find a clan mate willing to do it with me...

@@robf the strat is to get the bounty, then run a gambit, and look within your mates if one of them has a "free join" clan. if they do, join it, and finish the game. poof, that's 1/10 progress
i have yet to test it while joining the clan of the enemy, but i wouldn't be surprised.
I have one friend who plays gambit with me, we only play weekly but we rarely lose matches (we only do when we encounter the masters but ye)

I recently played trials with a guy who had one of those triumphs on his emblem. It was the one for career Gambit wins. He had 0. 0 gambit wins ever since they started tracking that. That's more of a flex than most rare emblems haha

Clan went through this as part of Day1, completely bodied another team, saw they had the 75 motes gathered, 0 on anyone else.
Normally play as a Sentry/Invader, felt bad at the end of the game when seeing the full team wipes and both invaders downed.
Queued against them again immediately afterwards.
Threw the game. We cleared the waves, left the motes, emoted whenever their invader arrived.
We just chatted for the 5 minutes until the other team won (and got "Protect the Runner").
Everyone else was fair game though. So sorry if you ran into a Worldline Zero Sentry killing you on spawn...

I do enjoy that Cross is the only one of the bigger Destiny creators out there that will still (willingly) occasionally hop into Gambit and make a vid about it. lol
But yeah as a stack I believe it’s super sweaty. As a solo you still mostly get other solos in matchmaking and plenty of clueless people still in there not banking and dying all the time on both sides.
Izanagi has definitely been the Gambit meta forever so surprised you had never come across it. The crazier thing is Leviathan’s Breath is also just as oppressive. Can one-shot you anywhere on the body no matter resilience!

Another weapon that’s a personal favorite of mine is Symmetry. Charge up those stacks and invade or take care of blockers easily, it’s so free
during season of the chosen when I was still new I played so much gambit and I loved the game mode.

Cross, the best way to enjoy gambit is eyes of tomorrow. It brings the most laughs and synergies with ammo for clearing adds and free ammo generation. It doubles well on invading too.

I feel one of the big issues with Gambit is rolls everyone jumps at it with what ever builds and in reality like they try to implement with gambit prime if you gear up to a roll you shred, if you go with an invador build, you can kill incoming invadors and slay when you jump to the other side, yeah I know good team spawn hunt you if they have enough experience but that on any mode on Destiny, the way a team should be made is having 1 invader and the rest to erase the adds as fast as possible and later on change for DPS but must people don't swap even tho we now have loadouts and easier than ever. I got Reckoner solo all the way did for a single fire team in the process and got to learn a lot of why I was failing matches, regardless of how good the other team was by example when invade portal opens ones the prime evil is out you don't want to jump in right away you want to wait until they damage the prime evil, so you can interrupt the DPS face and take them down they will usually stay close to each other and people usually jump right away they haven't pop supers or are not even ready for DPS.
Gambit is so sweaty because the only people left are the sweats LOL

Was doing a weapon thing that required Gambit recently. I used to think I was pretty good at it. Granted I'm rusty af but holy crap it's full of sweats due to absolutely no one else playing it.

It'll take you 20 minutes to complete 3 runs of repeatable moon bounties to get the missed XP from those clan bounties (assuming you replace those clan bounties with daily bounties).
4 repeatable bounties = 1 weekly
2 daily bounties = 1 weekly
