@@JPOG7TVsometimes you just get a completely goated lfg, my lfg experience for exhibition went extremely fast and well (four people who didnt know what to do including myself) but my lfg experience doing planets took a while due to mechanics

I miss the “OH MY GOD WE GOT IT WOOOOOOOOOOOO” instead of the “go to orbit go to orbit go to orbit skip the cutscene” even though it does nothing :(
things dont show up in the api until you go to orbit, and you want it in the api ASAP

To be fair, Destiny is more popular than back then, so there's a lot more competition now and they want their run to be confirmed as quickly as possible.

There is NOTHING like hearing a full clan of homies cheer in celebration after pain-staking hours of labor for the world's first clear. The persistence, teamwork, and dedication is absolutely inspiring, and each of them deserved the wins for the respective raids.
Also, shout out to Math Class for consistently being in the top 10 in most raids to have existed. Yes, they may not have the WF for any raid, but there's no denying they are some of the greatest players in the franchise, and it shows.

I mean he is actually the most consistent top 10 player in all the races... I think he has more top 10 then any other racer.

@@flexfuhyobih1353if they’re smart they’ll host it on a Friday. They learned their lesson from Vow of the Disciple. Let’s just say that as hard of a Day 1 Vow of the Disciple was, it was not “7 hours long” hard. Error codes are what made it last that long.

my favorite is last wish cuz it was like so late for them everyone tries to be quiet to not get in trouble by their family but still crazy achievement
That but also the 24 hour mark was basically less then an hour away, they were running literally on 0 sleep at that point with no one having cleared it yet, plus a surprise extra encounter after defeating Riven

Gladd is still extremely successful as a vereity streamer and still does low mans and stuff in destiny. He has done nothing but grow.

I also have a recording of first time Oryx clear with a full team of real life friends in 2015. We all stopped playing together now but I still love watching that video. Love to hear cheering after hours of trying and failing

I feel like that King's Fall finish was the most iconic, with ProBro and the gang watching Oryx slowly plummet to Saturn a lifeless husk.
I remember doing WOTM for 4+ hours just learning how to do every encounter… nothing will beat the memories and friendships made in D1 💯
What an incredible video, I didn’t play destiny 2 but played og destiny 1 with my bros and that feeling of having the emblem in the tower that nobody has was just next level when I was still a kid

EDIT: now that I know The Witness origin maybe in hindsight my comment is not accurate anymore 😅 so ok, can't wait to see what they will come up with for the final stand.

Clearing the Vault of Glass for the first time was such a good feeling.
I’ve fallen out of love with destiny watching this re-living the good days man thank you so much for this fuck seeing leviathan made is so much more nostalgic for me
these are the most crazy moments in the destiny journey but sadly i never had them cuz i never had a full fireteam of 6 to complete a raid. but still having high hopes of doing it soon in the future.
Now I want to see the reaction of groups that ended up second or third or basically just late by a small enough of a margin to heavily be disappointed at not being first.

I think one of the coolest parts is seeing how the meta has changed and what gear people are running for each world first, they're all different by some amount
watching crota 2.0 live was crazy. the other team was 10 seconds off and some how salts team pulled ahead.

The guy on Nezarec dps’ing him with an Ikelos SMG when he had rockets hurt my soul

You can see that he swapped to the Ikelos SMG for the shoot to loot perk and shot the heavy ammo brick in the distance, giving him an additional 2 gjallarhorn rockets.
honestly shooting with Ikelos and getting SFP procs was more DPS than going thru gally reload animations

Should have put the bonus clip of Crown with Datto's team all getting Tarrabah due to a weird timing glitch of his team coming such a close second, the game didn't yet update that one team had finished first. So Datto thought he finally redeemed himself for 24:02...

Personally, if I could choose what kind of reaction to hear from the Day 1 Final Shape raid, I’d want it to be something like the D1 King’s Fall Day 1 completion, where all the guys are both celebrating and taunting Oryx as he dies.
EDIT: Scourge of the Past reaction would prob be a close second, cause they’ll all just freaking out, trying to get out of there while celebrating they got the W.

WOTM wasn’t first cleared be redeem lol. The worlds first team were called „die Busfahrer“ from Germany. It was also announced in the TWAB after the race
