- Day Two:
After sleeping at the worlds loudest Motel, Stephan and I carried on with our journey through the forgotten valleys of Peru.
We decided to take the longer route, which said would take 6 hours longer...which wasn't true.
You won't believe what we found along our way.
Vamos!

Kurt, as an elderly person from Texas I want you to know how happy I am to live vicariously through you. You bring the joy of traveling to someone who cannot do it themselves. I appreciate the in-depth experiences you provide for me. Thank you very much. Your my hero!
why u cant travel by yourself? there's anyone to help you?
Since you old you got nothing to lose, take a trip

Don't ever lose this rawness man. It's exactly what makes this video's so beautiful to watch
Yea exactly. Most of the others are just too produced and acted
@@travistravinyle4207 when I wrote this comment I had Christian Leblanc in mind. He lost his rawness and I don't enjoy his content anymore
Absolutely accurate
I agree 🙌🏽 these videos make my dayss
Logan Paul did nothing wrong. This is his legacy…great videos. Raw doc life.
The Peruvians are by far the best people from any of your videos. I would love to visit there now.
You are welcome!
Peru is amazing and soo much fun too ! Peruvian people are gracious and kind I love them can’t wait to go back ! ❤😊❤😊 35:07
Love Peru. Driven all over the country. The people, the food, the environments all are amazing. I even married one.
Same here! I'm a Brazilian in love with the Peruvian culture, food and people. And I also found a Peruvian love to call my own :)
Same.....she got got short fuse....and cooks better than anyone in the world
Yes, the people are amazing.
What a time to be a Peruvian

I love how the one dude is buying fruit and Kurt randomly goes across the street and starts taking shots in someone's little house/shop 😄 🤣

I love that you say permiso when you enter a place, this is the biggest sign of respect in any Spanish speaking place
Yes but next time say " somos de sur africa" not "estamos" 😉
@@ojosazules8828 do Spanish speakers have weird ways of saying things? Example- in US, instead of saying I live in US. You could say, I dwell in the US, or I hail from the US, or I reside in the US. And they're all fine, a bit odd but nobody will think you are misspoken, if anything it's a plus to say such things
@@patrciaclemons8183 they have 2 ways of saying "I am" or "we are". In other words, there's two different verbs for the verb "to be". One is more permanent, such as when you say "I am American" or "I am a man" ("Yo soy un hombre"), the other way is less permanent things like "I am bored" ("yo estoy aburrido")
@@patrciaclemons8183 nobody is saying I dwell in or hail from or even I reside in. Speaking like that is very similar to the way Kurt misspeaks sometimes. Makes you sound like a non native speaker.
@@AZ-jd5cr nothing wrong with not sounding like a native speaker
The guy gave you ‘chicharron’ of alpaca and you received exactly that, a deep fried and further cook in low oil. Most of us love it and if you add a chili sauce then it is superb.
He wanted his chicharron cooked medium rare 🤣🤣. Kurt is still the man though.
@@AZ-jd5cr I prefer my chicharrón rare! I was thinking the same, he didn't know chicharrón is supposed to be like that.
I probably would've liked it since I'm the opposite of Kurt, I'd rather it be too cooked than too raw.
I would hope that if the guy gave it to him that he received it. lol
Marcos represented his country very well. What a wonderfully informative man.

9:17 Yunga or Yunka is how Quechua speakers (and maybe most high-altitude inhabitants in general) used to call the inhabitants of low-altitude, warmer valleys. So all of the people living close to the coast were known as Yunka. And their languages were also known as "yunka", whether they were related to one another or not. So the Moche, the people from the kingdom of Chimor, from the also rich kingdom of Chincha and so on, were called Yunka/Yunga.
17:49 Lúcuma! It's my favourite fruit actually :> but it's kind of dry. Some like to eat it directly, but I think it's way better as juice. So it's mostly blended with milk (preferably cold), sugar and some cold water or ice! (this is optional, to make it colder) That way it's very very delicious ^^ There's also Lúcuma ice cream from certain brands, but frozen lúcuma juice is the best ♥

Hostal in Peru means love hotel. If you want a clean bed you look for a hotel which are usually more expensive
Incredible video, side note: The alpaca had that texture because if was *chicharrón* which is a way of cooking it, also the dizziness you were feeling is called *soroche* and happens to some people, I'm glad you are visiting my country lov u
gringos rarely like chicharrones, especially if they are not expecting it.
I would have definitely ordered the Trout! Peru has some of the best Trout in the world in my opinion. I live in the Pacific Northwest and our Trout/Steelhead are amazing as well.

Hey buddy I am just curious... Do you guys really think that the Incas really built Machu Picchu? Nothing else that they did indeed make exhibited that level of craftsmanship. It was clearly an antedeluvian relic and made with much higher technology than we even have today. Which the Incas definitely did not have.
This is in no way meant to offend and Peruvians. I have some Peruvians in my family and they got pretty pissed when I told them my theory.
However my cousin told me he was mad af and thought about it for a while and realized that it made sense.
idk lemme know what you think...
When Kurt starts saying "wah" and "woh" a lot, you know things are getting real.

In Korea we place stones stacked on top like that to honor the dead. Crazy how much similarities there are around the world! Thank you for your videos! I feel like I’m traveling too!

I ordered Peruvian food while I watched these Peru vlogs. So good!! It was like I was there. Can’t wait to go back and visit the dark side of Peru.
Takes me back to 6 years ago when I drove around Peru in a motorbike, I went to the ruins but I had no idea about the skeletons. The scenery in that area is absolutely outstanding. The mountains are stunning.

Hola Kurt, soy peruano
Saludos
