Regardless of the tonewoods used, Moeck-Rottenburgh recorders are exceptional. The differences I perceive are there but they are minimal, perhaps also because I am not using a device with a very faithful sound, however I perceive a round sound in the maple one but with fewer harmonics than the other two which certainly have a more elegant sound. I also perceive the difference between the rosewood recorder and the ebony one, the rosewood one has a very beautiful sound, very personal, rich in harmonics and also round, the ebony one I find a little more "imposing".
