I just bought a bacon avocado for colder climate in Tasmania, Australia. Thank you for this lovely video.
Thank you Susan for the feedback. Best of luck with your new avocado adventure. Avocados are some of the most prized trees in our backyard.
Hi: I am really into avocado right now. I bought 4 or 5 kinds. But, I don't yet have a reed. I am going to riverside to get 2 reed. Reed is the best. I bought some fruits today of the reed and they are so big. Eating it by putting a spoon into the avocado is like high diving head first into a refreshing swimming pool on a hot summer day. That is what it is like to eat a Reed. You can just swim in it for days and days, and you never run out of flesh to eat and you enjoy the reed.
Thanks for sharing your Reed experience. I agree that is one of our favorite and tastiest.
@@thetreefather86 dear sir: if I put water out and let it sit, will it get rid of the salinity from cholirne? thx. I have so cal water from colordo with too much clorhichrine in the tap? thx
@@pokerchannel6991 the chlorine may be lowered, but there are other elements that won't be removed. Still, it is a better plan worth trying if no other options are available.
Excellent video! I also have 2 girls.
I recently grafted Reed and Julia to Nabal!
Thank you. I am trying hard to expand our knowledge and also pass it onto the new generation.
Doing a great job sharing with your kids!@thetreefather86
Niceeeeee, I’ve got a Fuerte and thinking of planting either a Reed, Gwen, or Mexicola 🥑
Beautiful trees and girls. Best of luck,
Thank you Frank
How to tell the difference between avocado varieties by leaves
Thank you, I wish you could show us what the avocado looks like.
I will show fruit when available in the future
Nice trees and very intelligent girls.
thank you Patrick
Save your money and yard space. Do Not plant Reed. I'm cutting down my Reed tree. I paid $70 for a small grafted branch. Now it's a small tree. It gave me fruits the 1st year I planted it. This year is the 2nd year. Both years, the fruits tasted watery. Because the water content is so high, there's no flavor. Instead, plant Fuerte. Fuertes are extremely creamy like butter and nutty flavor.
good to know Logan. I'm a couple of years before I can say what my avocadoes will taste like......Keep me updated
Logan how long did your Reed avocados hang in the tree before you ate them? Reeds are not watery at all they’re very creamy and have a very good flavor.
