Appreciate the videos on Jim, not much information around on it. Was so glad to acquire one last year, it's now over 8 feet and profusely flowering. Also grafted it to the wind damaged branches of my 7 year old Bacon.

It's about 15 years old plus but as you can see, it's on mediocre soil with very mediocre care yet. It still makes lots of avocados.

Is Jim bacon better tasting than bacon? Which one is better tree to plant bacon vs Jim bacon? Your Jim bacon tree looks wide and large, I've never tried Jim bacon but have tried bacon. There is no information on Jim bacon on the internet?

They are both really good. The Bacon avocado has thicker skin that you really can't eat, but it has a more conducive shape to scoop the meat out than the Jim Bacon. The Jim, Bacon has beautiful red color it gets and a very sexy shape, but that very sexy shape makes it a little more difficult to get the meat out of the neck efficiently. However, the skin is thin enough that you can just eat it which is what I do most of the time. Those are the chief differences

Nice, are they seedlings or are they grafted varieties.
I know your avocado mad 😆 but it’ll be nice to see a white sapote video.

You are so funny and cool. Do you really think that these "atmospheric rivers" are Natural? I never heard of that living in California before HAARP

Yes, these things happen. I remember a Winters like this back in the 80s were every day at lunch during winter we were stuck in the hallways, eating our lunch, watching it pour
