This reinforced my decision to get a Paul’s. Both sounded great, but preferred the Paul’s pickups in every position.

They both sounded great. I have a slight preference for the Paul’s guitar.

I've been looking for this exact comparison! These both sounded great. The Paul's has a more P90ish sound while the 85/15's had a very hot sound. Hmm, Custom 24 has a colder overall sound compared to how warm the Paul's sounded. Still can't decide which one to get but I'm leaning towards the Custom 24.

Paul’ Guitar seems thicker sounding where as the Custom is more hi if. They both sound great! Great playing!

Tough to tell till you get the vol up . The 85s sound quite thin. Like are these really hum bucks? But I find it all fattens with 7 to 10 guitar vol at 4 to 6 vol on the Champ or Custom Deluxe. We'll see. My 24-08 (85/15) arrives Friday! 😊

I feel the Custom has the edge in tone. Paul’s red tiger is sweet. Both are elite guitars.

Paul’s guitar neck pickup sounded stellar

To me, custom 24 sounds thinner and brighter, Paul's is darker with a fuller low end... hard to pick a preference!

    What does FMT stands for?

Yeah, this is weird. "FMT" is not a actual PRS acronym, as far as I know, so my best guess is the this channel uses it to mean, "Flamed Maple Top."
