Light weight tuner refinement is the biggest load of garbage I've ever heard. Light weight tuners are cheap and crap. You're willing to tell your customers such BS?
I’ve just got the SE version of this, delivered 2 hrs ago. Quilted maple in turquoise, looks great; even family members who know nothing about guitars were impressed. I just can’t wait to get acquainted with this guitar, I’m still waiting for it to get to room temp. to get it tuned nicely.
Great intro music. I have a CU24 from 2008. I swapped the pickups to something similar to the current pickups. It still plays so beautifully. It stays in tune for eons.
nicest guitars i ever purchased; if you have one, DON'T ever sell it; it's a piece of beauty to play; it deserves the best amp you can afford, what ever distance you can stretch;
I just bought a PRS . I have a small VOX amp. Can you recommend an amp that goes well with the McCarty 594. The Guitar is definitely a piece of artwork. I love it.
I hesitated a very long time to buy one of these for obvious reasons. The price tag. But finally I bought a very clean used one. Even that was a lot of money. But it turned out to be my favourite guitar right from the start. It works so well for me. A great experience.
Thing I love about Bryan’s demos in these examples is he really demos the playing style and musical style that suits each pickup combination, clearly a very experienced professional musician in the real world!
I own an ultra stratocaster and a gibson les paul standard. I am so ready to part ways with both of them to be able to afford me a custom 24. The craftsmanship, sound, versatility, and fast neck make it for me at least, the very best electric guitar that money can buy. I'm Suhr that suhr makes great instruments, but the PRS just seems like they triple check these things before they leave the factory. Had the chance to meet and greet PRS himself and like an idiot was too lazy to get in my car and drive 30 min. I would kill for a signed custom 24.
thinking about buying one as well but sound wise they seem a bit dead and unemotional to me, i have got a silver sky and it sounds and feels great to play but I somehow feel limited emotion wise compared to my strat, would love to get an update on how you like your 24! cant decide if I wanna get a les paul or a 24, or another strat. We've all been there haha)
PRS, here's some product feedback for you. I purchased a set of your Phase III locking tuners to put on a guitar I built for myself, back in 2012. Now with 12 years of use on those tuners, I can confidently say that they are substantially INFERIOR to standard Schaller M6 tuning machines, and in fact I think they're not even as good as regular lower cost Gotoh machines. If PRS is REALLY serious about using the best of all possible products on their guitars, then PRS should be using machines custom made for them by Schaller. Maybe be the first to market with custom TITANIUM bodied lightwight sealed machines.
I bought a PRS because I loved the neck inlays and thought it would look good on my wall but it is one of my go to guitar it's so versatile and well made.
PRS guitars used to be amazing! Unfortunately Paul doesn't know when to leave them alone! I had a few Prs guitars from the early 00s that I loved unfortunately they were stolen! When I got the insurance payment I went to the store to pick out a new custom 24 to discover the guitars were nothing like my custom 24!
I’ve actually had the opposite experience. I first got ahold of a PRS about 2008-9 and bought another one 2 years ago and they were almost identical aside from the colors.
I have owned 10+ PRS'es (S2's, Core's, CE USA's new and old) and all of them have been really different. I like the early 00's too, 4 of 5 of the ones I own are from the 00's, but they are more different than they are the same. I think you should be able to find some variety in the new lineup. The pickups are not my taste, but to be fair the only 00's pickup that I haven't replaced are Dragon 2 necks.
I had a 2014 Paul’s guitars that I traded for a brand new PRS studio. and obviously they sound different because of different pickup layouts, but honestly if you blind folded me and handed each guitar I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. They both have amazing fret work and craftsmen ship.

Anything north of the nut has no bearing on the perceived tone of a guitar.
The 40th Anniversary of the PRS Custom 24 is in 2025. Something amazing is coming soon from the mind of the Mad Genius Paul Reed Smith.
PRS is a lot of things but for me it's the sound of 00-10s heavy prog. Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Karnivool..

@cannonskier I've got multiple PRS and Multiple amps. PRS into a Mesa is divine!
@@gillmeterAgreed 100%. PRS + Mesa Boogie = Magic!
Have a custom 24 se.. Sounds nice in my boss katana 100 .. Specially the brown setting
@@cannonskierpersonally think mesa with prs sounds too dry, I recommend Marshall
I have a 2006 Custom 22 and its incredible, PRS Core guitars are all stunning... (Please do a Core model with P-90's...)
Definitely agree custom24 is pure treasure of guitar specially the new one Cu24 or Cu24-08 or Cu24Piezo
What is the reason to put the switch in that position, just below the bar? Seems to be uncomfortable when the bar lays in vertical angle.
Allows you to do volume swells easily without releasing the bar
We need a core custom 24 hard tail. Yeah I know the McCarty but this just with a hard tail
One day I will earn enough to get one of these. Until then I'll just watch every video you guys put out. 🤘🏽🗿🤘🏽

Just added phase III tuners to my S2 custom 24 Eriza verde. Has to be my favorite guitar.
Hopefully lefty’s will be available and not just in generic black like other manufacturers tend to do
Keep doing what you're doing! You're an inspiration! ✨

I've got a unique PRS Private Stock guitar in Makena Blue. The color seems to be very close to this new "Carroll Blue" color that this guitar has.
best color!
What happened with the PRS 408? The asymetrical pickups were an interesting idea.
Would love to see a stoptail option offered.
Carroll Blue, custom made for me ! ;-)
That’s my dream guitar you’re holding Bryan 😂
Would love to rig up my 89 with these pups. Love those tones....
LOVE IT THRU THE PRS 50 COMBO. I JUST GOT THAT AMP, SOUNDS AMAZING WITH ALL MY GUITARS. Sorry caps. This is next on the list list.
My dream of guitar! 🔥
Great video. I don’t even have or plan to get this guitar, but it’s so enjoyable to watch. Can you do a demo of the (Core) Custom 24 Floyd?
My favorite PRS electric guitar model of all time
That new color is absolutely gorgeous!!! My custom 24 is a 2021, so I’m not up for replacing it, but wow!
Top
Like always PRS are a work of art absolutely the best I have a McCarty 594 and I say the tone is always there never changing
921 Rowe Branch
Nice demo!! Please reissue the wide fat necks. It is the easiest and most comfortable for the professional guitarist.
true ...all the pros use fat necks ....lol....blahhhhhhh
What color is that?
I have 2 original SE ... for the price, it better be perfect.
I love yall but bruh those tuning keys gotta go lol
Yeah I don't really like them, they're not outrageous but they're not for me
Looks amd sounds incredible
High above the mucky muck 🎶
Please make a sonzera head ~40 watts. We need it!
Best 6 string electric ever built.
That is a beautiful guitar. And sounds so great.
I love my Custom 24!
Wow 😢

Wow
ARE BRASSS SADDLES BACK?!?! :D
Did they leave? My 2017 was them, they are just covered in Chrome.
우리는 prs의 시대에 살고있다
