- The Trayvax Venture Billfold is their newest EDC wallet design and their first "modern bifold" with traditional features!
The frame is made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum and a single piece of 3 oz Horween leather sourced from Wickett & Craig. It's hand stitched from heavy duty braided nylon thread.
There are 3 total card "pockets" that can hold up to 12 cards and the full-size cash compartment can hold 20+ bills. Plus it features a magnetic clasp that holds the wallet shut with triple plated neodymium magnets.

I own several Trayvax wallets and I agree with you, the Contour is the best, hands down. The Venture seemed too big, especially since I’m so used to front pocket carry now. 👍
Already seeing a couple issues, no Rfid slot, that aluminum spring will eventually keep wearing ur card with in and out.
And well the lock with full loaded wallet. Too many issues, a newer model will definitely need to be made.

I own an Ascent and Contour, I’ve been curious about this wallet. If you carry cash it would be great, but I love the size of the contour. Definitely typical Trayvax quality.
The cards next to the cash in that slot have not bothered me so far but I don't have 20 bills in yet. I've got about 7.
Great review. For me though by far my favorite Trayvax. I carried the Ascent with a Band Joe for over 3 years but really wanted to carry cash too so this is a perfect solution. I agree with you on no inside cards. I am finding the sweet spot is 6 or 7 cards and ten bills. For me thats 4 credit and debit cards, my license and cwp and my insurance card. Very happy with this after a few days. Once it stretches out a bit pushing out the top card will be easier.

AWESOME! Great review Chris! I'm sure there's gonna be a few reviews for this bad boy but I was really waiting on your review. Thorough and honest... That's as real as it gets. I'm fairly certain this will fulfill my need for more space as compared with the contour. I love my contour but it's really only my summer carry.
$100 for a wallet that comes packaged like something from true utility.
Main concern with this wallet is how it would cope with UK currency which is all different sizes.
Any update? Does it work?

According to Trayvax it won’t affect the cards at all. And from my experience so far my cards are fine. Cards have to be very close to magnets to actually erase them and I think they’re far enough from the magnets to be ok. Plus these magnets aren’t very powerful

Uhh this is the first Trayvax catching my interest. Since i am not a big fan on carrying cash folded this seems to be perfect. Any ideas how good Euro notes fit in?

Great review... with pros and cons I Love it. I have the black one. I absolutely like it's functionality being both classic and modern. I also agree 💯 with not carrying anything in the 3 card pocket. Overall I'd rank it about 3 from the top of the trayvax line up. It's an excellent wallet.

They've reinvented the bi fold when that's not needed. Contour for me, then Ascent, the OG2. All great and functional. This one not so much. Magnets should never be anywhere near wallets.

Sure. Business cards are smaller and wouldn’t get in the way as much.
But for me I don’t want anything in that slot.
Any idea if this Venture brown is closer to the traditional Trayvax Tobacco or Mississippi Mud browns? I want to match a keychain, and unsure which might be closest to the Venture.
While it looks premium and attractive, I dont think so the card slots are going to keep the cards safely. It should at least have microfibre lining inside as this will scratch the cards.
Looks nice. I don’t think I ever carried 20 bills in my entire life. Maybe 10, max, so that’s not an issue. I like having the bills out of the way, where you don’t have to touch them every time you touch your wallet.

The amount of play the wallet has when it’s unclasped plus the fact that removing the outside card activates the clasp immediately turned me off
The only branding I see is this gigantic logo on the front and the oversized logo on the aluminum end piece. Thank goodness they didn't over do it! LOL! I had the same problem, I couldn't get it to close with just 10 bills and a single card in the interior card slot. I'm somewhat disappointed with my purchase.
And the bifold is 109 plus 50 you can get a contour

Maybe I'm going against everybody here but I don't like it at all. For me it looks difficult to use, it looks nice the combo between leather and metal is always a good mix but I don't like the idea behind it. I much prefer the form factor of the ascent, it's just my honest opinion.
I returned mine because it IS difficult to use.
Chrispy has made tons of wallet reviews and I enjoy watching them. Could someone help me my wallet crusade? I am looking for slim leather wallet which takes 4-6 six card and few EUR bills. No coins needed. Now I am using Aviator Slide and it is too bulky for me and bills get easily damaged due lack of protection. Is there any wallet I might to check for? This wallet playlist has tons of good options but I need to somehow to narrow the search.. Thank you!

Trayvax is a good company but there warranty kinda sucks I emailed them about a part for my contour and they won't send me a part they want me to pay for it.
They’ll warranty any manufacturer defects. What part did you need replacing?

Totally impractical.
I think this is a transitioning wallet. From the rear to the front, after a while the mechanics of the wallet will get better.
This is a pass on me but I own an armor summit, OG 2.0, and Accent. I would like my next Trayvex to be a contour next.
To big and does not bend not a edc wallet can't see putting that in your front pocket save 50 extra bucks and get the contour
