Great job Mark. I have just about every Trayvax wallet there is minus maybe one. My kids and I get a kick out of me choosing which wallet I will carry from month to month.
This wallet looks cool, might have to pick one up, don’t love the new packaging though. Looks a little to commercial which isn’t where I see you guys!

Per my adult children, they made fun of my traditional bi-fold leather wallet that acted like a filing cabinet. They suggested a minimalist wallet. I fought back! So...after an exhausted search, the Trayvax Venture really met me halfway! I figured out what I really needed (EDC) and I have to admit this "bi-fold minimalist wallet" is wonderful! My "old-timer" friends saw it, asked for a look themselves and were impressed. The craftmanship is first rate. This has a classy look with the minimalist features. What cash I do carry is NOT EXPOSED for all to see! BTW - I was not a fan of a freakin' "rubber band" holding folded/quartered dollar bills that you see in other minimalist wallets. That was a deal breaker for me. I almost kept my old bi-fold until I discovered the Trayvax.
Bonus: Made in the USA! How about that? 5 stars! Do let the blister type packaging deter you. It really is that good of a minimalist bi-fold wallet!
Love love your wallets, but the packaging prior to this felt way more personal and less (consumer/mass produced). Just my two cents
Mr. King, this item looks great. Love your company's designs, and the sustainable motivations behind your products. I will certainly purchase one. Now I'll just have to find a way to part with my Contour, as it is the ultimate wallet to be found on this, or any other planet. What a wonderful innovation sir. Keep up the good work. Tempted to order one, even though I still got the original Axis running strong (6 years already).
Same. I’ve had my axis since 2015 or so. I’ve bought another wallet since then and went right back to the axis. When I saw this, I wanted it immediately but the only thing the axis has that this doesn’t is a spare key holder. Though most vehicles I drive have a fob, my old 92 F150 still merits having a spare key on me in case I lock it in the truck. That’s the only problem I can come up with for trayvax - their products are so good, once you buy one, you don’t need to buy another one haha

Still loving my Contour, but this is tempting. I’ll never go back to back pocket wallets though, so I’m not sure I’m a fit. Awesome innovation though!

I've been using a Ridge wallet but they destroy any cards that have a magnetic strip because they're held so tightly together. I've been using a money clip for cash but I'm in Australia and our cash is the most colourful and eye-catching in the world, so I really miss being able to discretely sort through the bills inside a traditional wallet and pulling out only what is needed for the transaction. I'm definitely going to take a look at one of these. Thanks for the realistically in-depth video. Very informative and much appreciated.

Good upgrade from my Ascent Wallet~ Will the automatic magnetic closure mechanism wearout over time?
I could definitely see getting this for my son as he would likely carry more cash then cards at his age.
Not sure if I could put the contour on the nightstand for this. But this will likely be my son’s introduction to trayvax.

Unfortunately, I don't think you fixed the biggest issue that stopped me from buying your last couple of wallets.... The problem? I love my element too much and it's held up so well I have no need to upgrade!!

I really like my version 1.0. I've had it for a long time. I think I got it while you were still starting up. It is finally starting to show serious wear. It has been a tank. I'm looking at the newer models, but there isn't really a version that 'hides' cash like it does. I don't carry a bunch of cash, emergency only, but I don't want anyone seeing what I do have. Suggestions?
The wallet looks amazing. However, I don't like the plastic packaging it came in. My Trayvax i got came in a really cool box signed by the team that made it. Felt really personal and pool, not like something that came from a box store with that packaging.
Looks cool. Two comments... First, I'd be concerned about the magnetic field damaging my cards over time. How long was that tested? I know some cards are more resistant to demagnetization, but I gotta imagine that over a long period of being in such close proximity, even those cards risk damage.
Second...why the new packaging? The old cardboard box was fine. It looked good, and contained FAR less plastic.
I thought the same thing about the packaging. This looks more like something you’d pull off a rack at Bass Pro Shop.
Great feedback. On the packaging: We just wanted to try something new. On the magnetic field: The magnetic closure is optimized for safe use with common high-coercivity (credit/debit) magnetic card stripes, but close contact with low-coercivity magnetic card stripes such as hotel keys or visitor passes should be avoided. - Shon

I have the Ascent, Original 2.0, and the Axis, and have been using the Ascent for the last few months, often miss the 2.0 because. I never thought I would see a wallet that beat those three, but this one will probably be the one! Well designed, and well well executed. I just may have to go for the Venture. All I can say is WOW! I have 3 TRAVAX belts, one in titanium, and I suspect you will improve on the belts one day!
Looks good..but I would have liked to have seen an inside window for license..the pocket you show for cards inside I would think could fall out when getting cash..other than that nice looking wallet!
Well, shoot, just when I thought I didn't need another wallet after getting the Contour...the Venture looks incredible.
I have a contour, and passport. This a good looking trayvax wallet concept. I would put made in USA in bk make trayvax name main focus up-front. Just my opinion.
Any chance you'll be doing a euro sized version of this that I could get as an alternative to my armoured summit notebook wallet

@@TrayvaxEnterprises Just a heads up. I just received mine and am a world traveler, so I have Euros. In fact it does not fit that particular currency without the bills sticking out the top.
The Trayvax i have isnt even on the wbsite anymore. Has a little 550cord style hook/loop and to hang wallet and closed with a metal nitch and hole. tempted to get this one....
It would be nice to see side by side size comparison to your minimalist wallets. Will you be making a smaller version for the front pocket?

I like it but it’s kind of a step away for what trayvax wallets were about. All the other stuff from you guys was simple and robust but also compact. I guess this if more targeted to people who want a more traditional sized wallet ?
Yes. I think they should be able to make a smaller version that still works.

Really love to have one but I suggest a lanyard connection link for safety while riding my bike, and a bit larger card capacity like my Original 2.0

update to my first comment. I've been using a wallet for a couple of weeks now and I really like it current especially I carry money sometimes it's perfect place to spot to put it in. and I carry a five car so it's perfect. good job everybody at trevax!

I like it. Would be a great addition to my Contour. Needs a place I can connect Link Stretch lanyard.
That would be a lot better if it comes with a lanyard attachment point IMHO.
I have the blue 2.0 & the black element. The attachment points makes me feel my wallet is secured.
Man that would've been perfect if it's have the I on opening on the card area. (Like the Axis.) I have 4 Trayvax wallets wish I could test this out. But I may hold off in hopes that the Axis series gets the lock enclosure. Great looking wallet.

I would think a metal framed wallet wouldn’t make for the most comfortable back pocket carry (as stated in the video this is a back pocket wallet.) I front pocket carry but this would be too big, IMO. Also, I wish it was made out of Full grain leather. That really is the top of the line.
Most trayvax wallets are front pocket carry they even encourage front pocket carry

I ordered the Venture in brown and was curious if it was closer to the tobacco or Mississippi Mud color. I'm wanting to order a keychain as well, but unsure which might be closer to my Venture.

Maybe it's the video but this wallet looks huge. Would like to see it next to the Element or Ascent. Also, that packaging is horrible. The simple box felt much more personal. Love Trayvax, though. Contour is the ultimate.

Not feeling it
I own a few of your products, I’m wanting to get this one. Tried on your web page but item cannot be sent to my country. It seems silly as your web page lets me change currency to mine but then you cannot send item.
I carry vastly more cards than cash. The downside to most "new" wallets is that they only hold a handful of cards. This is why I'm sticking with my old Trayvax (don't even renmember what it was called now, but it's canyon red and has a bottle opener.) I've got 10-12 cards in it and a handful of bills.

I just received one. I loaded 2 cards and 4 bills and it would not latch closed without some difficulty. I'm returning item. Disappointed to say the least

Hi Mark, the wallet look sick, but I really think that this defeat the purpose of staying away from traditional wallet, something your company stand for. But this is just my perception.

Shame there's a lot more plastic on the packaging. Honestly I think you've needlessly reinvented the wheel with this one. You want a billfold wallet you'll buy one. You want a minimalist Trayvax you'll buy a Contour or one of your others. There also seems to be a touch of the Dango in that frame. This one's not for me, although I do have four Trayvax wallets to use.

Looks aggressive on the card. The leather one chews my cards up, I could only imagine the shape of the plastic after a few months

But the whole point of Trayvax was to be tactical and useful with a minimal approach to wallets.
