This record was Tom's time to shine.... he co-wrote this one and another song with Bob Jackson, the two strongest songs on the album, plus Tom's "Hey Mr Manager" and "Rock and Roll Contract", two more amazing songs... too bad "Mr Manager" killed off Pete Ham, and eventually Tom Evans too
This song stayed in the vaults for years due to the legal difficulties of the band. This would have been a hit if released as a single. It is superlative in arrangement and execution.
They needed Todd Rundgren to produce them perhaps... or George Harrison or Paul McCartney.... anyone except Stan Polley.... Badfinger were an amazing band, sadly with terrible management
