I feel like I just listened to a transexual conversion track. Like I feel like these are for the kids sent to gay conversion camp and their parents informed the camp that they were caught crossdressing and wanted it to stop.

I’ve been a fan of Amanda Palmer for like 3 years and I’ve heard this song countless times but never paid attention to they lyrics till one day I was driving and I was just like “wait what?”. As a non binary person I’m tempted to dm her or something to see if maybe she was writing this from a transphobe’s perspective or if she actually believes you’ll always regret gender affirming care if you get it :/
