It's good for the style that it is, people into these songs should like it. I'm a bit sad about it for myself personally. Reminds me of when Cherri Bomb transformed into Hey Violet (only less extreme than that example). Again, it's not bad, not at all. Just a shift in tone to where this totally sounds like women singing a Maine song, where I loved where they evolved with Cult Classic (the whole ep, not just the one song of that title). World doesn't revolve around me and if this is where they're growing musically then they have to be true to themselves. But where I could relate to so much of the earlier stuff, this is a bit too generic radio rock for me. But I'm not saying it as an insult. Many people love radio rock which is purposely generic, because it's the comfort food of music. As a big DG fan for awhile now, it gives me concern I might get left behind in who they become, they might be evolving into a sound that isn't me, though regardless I hope whatever they do they succeed. So I'm both happy for them in that I'm sure this style will reach a more mainstream audience, but a touch sad they might be at a place emotionally they might not be in anymore that I still am. Guess future songs will show if this was a one off or more permanent direction.

5/10 basic indie music song the music song. I wish alternative music was actually alternative. This is just boring.
