This type of education should be available in schools. This reminded me of this quote ‘’Life is an evolutionary process, and being human means there are always going to be new feelings to digest.’’ - Andrew Kenneth Fretwell (book Emotional Alchemy the Love and Freedom Hidden within Painful Feelings)
Dear sir, Thank you very much. I was in search of material that will help government employees to achieve better emotional balance. Thank God, I got the material required for the lecture. I am sharing this with all my participants. I learned a lot about how to make a presentation highly effective.
I have searched for the meaning and difference between these three states and in each instance I found they were used interchangeably. This is the first time I understand the true difference between them. Thank you for the clarification!
So enlightening! Shows how important it is to understand the signals our emotions are giving us. Understanding emotions and practicing emotional intelligence can make such a big difference in improving quality of life. Thank you!
Great video. It has helped me understand the difference between emotions feelings and moods very clearly and deepened my understanding of how the mind is rooted within the entire body and not just the brain. I will definitely be watching more of your videos. Thank you for the content!
Our emotions guide us and our feelings can be a vital information. But the talk was one step forward with high, low intensity, pleasent, unpleasant graph, putting things in perspective. Good one.
Glad this video was helpful! Please download the practice sheet so you can do your own graph of feelings. I think tracking feelings can give you good data and insight.
Thank you very much Josh! While I am watching you I feel very interested and curious and start to read more about emotions and feelings. I appreciate your authentic effort in explaining all these valuable knowledge, thank you
Wonderful! Excited that you are practicing! I encourage you to check out more of our content for tools and learning about emotions. Let us know if you have questions and maybe we can make a video so others can learn too!
Thank you Josh! You have a great way of explaining the automation and physiology of emotions and I really like your reference to Candice Pert's insights and research. The video is clear and visual on the differences between emotion, feeling and mood.
We are so grateful to Candace Pert for her foundational work on understanding the emotion system. I wish we had more time to learn from her. I am happy that we are able to clarify differences between emotion, feelings and mood because they are often misunderstood. This is an exciting time to be studying this field because we are learning more everyday.
Thanks Evelyn! It's great to know that we have subscribers who are using the info. We are excited to make more videos for you. Tell us some topics or questions you have about emotions or emotional intelligence!
How would you say this relates to those who relate to being sensitive/empathic. I often feel like I can feel the emotions of others too. I'm thinking knowing my own emotions/feelings may help me understand and decide this side of me better
Thank you for such a visual explanation! Really interesting content and perspective, I particularly loved the "light in the brain" concept!
Glad you enjoyed it! Metaphors are really powerful to remember and understand complex concepts. Just remember the cow! 🐮
