This genuinely took me about 30 minutes total of playing around, tying, untying, and repeating until FINALLY getting it down perfectly. I will absolutely say, this is by far the most perfect thing I've ever done with straps and also my first. 🤣 Though, just going off the physics, this thing holds itself together extremely nicely. It makes me wonder if this is technically the intended design of it? The way the ends get squeezed in-between the other two sides makes this feel so secure, I could probably whip my camera over my head like a lasso and still it would never come undone. Not even kidding. 😂
@@inquisitvem6723 really? when i did this with my stock fuji strap, it was no shorter than the original way it was attached to the clips. i ultimately replaced it with a peak design slide lite tho. they are just better in every way if u can afford one of those :)
@@shuccle6161 I just meant the one given by Fuji is too short for me. It’s more of a neck strap. I ordered a peak design shoulder strap instead to cross the shoulder to lower torso.
@@inquisitvem6723 gotcha, yeah it is smaller compared to the pd stuff. hope you have been enjoying that one! did you get the largest size they have? the one that looks like a seatbelt?
My strap looks sharp thanks! The best thing about your video is it's first person POV. Also only two minutes long. Frustrated watching others. Maybe they're jealous and trolling with dislikes.
Hi, I looking for another way to put my xt2 strap, and I find your tutorial useful, but I'm interested in your X fujifilm strap, so beautiful where did you buy it, can you tell me thanks
hate those straps. They are overcomplicated. I've watched hundreds of these "how to do it right" videos, and the strap has loosened *twice* while on the street. That shit is scary. looking at some leica straps now instead of this bundled crap
It's okay, but I think there must be better ways. This looks similar to what's in the manual of my new camera. However when I compared my new camera to my old one, the old one seems to have them differently (and maybe better), and I'm not entirely sure why 😂 Now I got to figure out how I did it with my old camera, without opening it up too much 🤣
2020 and i still find this useful. your cam should have been better focus though. Thanks mate
my xt3 strap has a smaller lock and at the end it doesnt fit all 3 straps inside :(
Thank you for this!
Great tip, took me a few times to get it but I it looks great now. No leather things on my X-S10 though...
Ah yep, not every camera has them Erwan.
a great trick. thank you for sharing.

Too short I think. I might get a shoulder strap one.

@@shuccle6161 no. I ordered an older model that is thin. The older leash version. I ordered it on eBay.

Glad you liked it, Shanon!

Very clever, very cool. Thanks for the tip!
Where did u get that strap ? great work
This is very smart! thank you so much for sharing :) Little bit fiddily the first time, but works perfectly and reduced all the clatter noise too.
Glad it helped!
Thank you for this video! Easy to follow and I was able to do it for my new camera right away 👍🏼
Glad it helped!
Unfortunately it does not seem to work on a x-t4 as the shoulder strap has a smaller lock. :(
I love it, I can't understand 10 dislikes on this tip.. I use it now on Xpro2, thanks!
Thanks for the help it worked out great
Thank you! Only helpful video I have found.
Worked great for me. Thank you!
So these clips you pull strap 3rd time? They break on X-T3 -_-
Nice video, very helpful. Your fujifilm x strap looks amazing, can you help me where I can find one. Thanks
Thanks! It comes with the camera.
Great video!
On the thiner strap, it doesn't go through the little thing because the fabric is too thick.
How or where do you get that leather piece that covers the metal ring?
Comes with the camera.
hi, where did you got your strap from? it looks very nice, but i cant find it anywhere online. P.S. i use FUJIFILM XT-1
yah where did u get that strap!
@@ujinrufo2476 did you find it ?

Nice! Very positive ending
Thanks man hahha, helped me a lot with my xt100
I use steel rings and then carabiners. A lot quicker and more convenient to use.
That little buckle now doesn't fit 3 straps... ):
Seems like great instructions but I can’t see do to focus and lighting. 😢
Hey thanks man! Glad you shared! You are a savior from annoyance 🤣
Thank you!
2024 I just got xt5 thank you
Nice focus you drongo
Great! Thanks!

Sounds like you’re not doing it right Jakob - there’s no way this would loosen in normal use.
Tidy. Good tip :-)
This method makes it impossible to take the strap off quickly - and without any benefits.
clever
Old school
Thank you :-)
This is also how Nikon manuals tell you to do it.
Yeah my straps has always been like this. I don't understand the "new" or "wow" of this :p
Ha ! I do it exactly the same way :-)
You should do even faster with less explanation next time to make go from ridiculous to impossible.
