  • Top 5 accessories for your Fujifilm X100V & X100VI in 2024. The Fuji X100V is hands down my favorite camera right now. In this video, I share 5 X100V accessories that make this perfect camera even better (which are all compatible with the X100VI). Some of them you may already know about, like lens hood, leather camera straps, and the popular Moment Cinebloom filter. But some you may not be thinking of, like the sleek and compact Moment fanny sling or the Instax SP-2 printer.

Oy I have an X-T4 with a few lenses but am looking at possibly buying a second camera and it's between those two. I'm leaning towards the gr iiix (or regular gr iii) since it's pocketable and I could get it into venues, etc that I wouldn't be able to with the X-T4.

  • @torinsall
    @torinsall 2 года назад +2

HaHa...you are spot on about the Fuji Instax printer...so much fun...and if you ask someone if you can take their picture, it's so much better to then give them a print of that photo (esp when traveling...makes you less touristy).
Wrist strap...Artisan silk, Gordy leather, or anything with a PD quick release clip.
Also the PD Slide Light for use as a cross body strap, and either the PD belt/strap clip setup or the Spider Light system for carrying a camera on my belt.
Polarizing filter...some outdoor shots just look better with it.
For the X100V...Lensmate thumb rest, Garitz half case, Fuji WCL-ii, Fuji adapter+filter for WR when not using the WCL
Been looking at that Moment bag (all back ordered, of course)...looks like it fits your X100V well...is there enough room left for the x100v plus wcl?

@@Reggiebphoto Not famous thumb rest (chinesse cheap one but really good quality). I prefer the Instax square because is bigger print! Not too much but enough. I know the square does not fit a regular photo... but this is like an Instagram print :) And I'm 40... reminds me to ancient (and new) Polaroids!! I would definitively buy anything larger, I mean, something still small/convenient but more on the usual size.

Thanks for sharing your setup, Reggie!
I considered getting the Clever Supply Strap because they look so nice but I already have the Peak Design Lite and find it comfortable, light and so convenient to change the length so I can carry my X100V very tight and short, when I walk a longer distance without shooting or have to handle my daughter.
I also love the wrist strap because with the inserted magnet you can wear it like a bracelet when not attached to the cam.
By the way there are pure black Peak Design anchor links available and I like them more then the black/red ones.
On my X-S10 I also love the Peak Design Anchor mount because the strap does not obstruct when shooting in portrait orientation. Unfortunately it does not fit on the X100V due to the battery lid :-(
I also have the Squarehood lens hood (black) and find it very nice together with the B+W clear filter 007. I also very like their mini red soft shutter button made of brass.
Unfortunately the rubber hood cap is a pain! I like to use caps especially when it drizzles or I am at a dusty spot...
So actually I rather use the Nisi UV Filter because the original lens cap fits perfectly and the cam is smaller and looks more low-key.
I wish they would offer a pure clear "filter" as B+W.
I also only use Fuji batteries but luckily I already had enough for my X-S10. But the price is unreal though!
I am still loking for a thumbrest. The Lensmate thumbrest seems to be nice and convenient. However I did not make a decision yet.
    Cheers Reggie!

Will the Moment sling be useful for the X100F with the WCL attached? From what I see in your video, seems that the sling holds the camera very well with your hood, but I’m pretty sure the WCL protrudes a little bit more.

Reggie quick question regarding that Hoage lens hood. I have seen reviews that after putting a filter on, depending on the threading your lens hood (when screwed on) wont sit aligned, rather its crooked.
I am getting confused because I saw another video explaining that this had a ring designed to screw on straight. Could you potentially give some insight?

    • @Reggiebphoto

You just turn it until it straight. You just eyeball it. The other alternative is the squarehood brand but that will get filters stuck
