NEW APUSH STUDENTS: I watched all of these and did all of my homework and got a 4 on the AP exam. You'll do fine, but don't underestimate the time constraint! Practice and practice on DBQ And make a list of events in each period and what they were! Periodization is key.
If your taking the AP test tommorow, remember to stay calm. Don't do a allnighter, its too late to cram it all in. Get a really strong breakfast, I took the AP Calculus test today, and I took the AP Spanish test on Monday. I cannot stress this enough, if you guys don't get a strong breakfast you are not going to make it past the DBQ and Long Essay parts. You got this my fellow APUSH students!
I can probably list about 15 instances where this video helped me on the test today. The test mainly focused on semester 1 stuff, so this was absolutely amazing. Also, the essay questions you discussed were ACTUALLY on the exam! that includes the short answer, dbq, and long essay. Your video was a godsend, thank you!!
i watched about 4 hours of your videos yesterday for my unit test, and i got a 100 on my test! i didn’t want to read the textbook, so i watched you videos! i’ll definitely be using these videos throughout the year. thank you!
I have the AP test tomorrow, came on here for some last min review, I am grateful for your teachings. And good luck to everyone else taking it tomorrow. God's speed
Hey Adam Norris, I got a 4 on my APUSH exam and I cannot express how much your videos helped me increase my grade in that class and get a good score of the exam. You truly are a live-safer.
Just took the ap test and honestly these videos helped me more than anything else available. So to any future people watching this, just pay attention extensively and you're good.
a) One reason for European exploration was accessing resources provided by foreign lands that were not available in Europe. b) European exploration caused a decline in native population because diseases from Europe were brought over, and the natives did not possess immunity to those diseases, resulting in their deaths. c) European exploration caused rifts between certain European nations because they competed over the benefits of the new lands.
the subjects you chose for your short answers are good, but you might want to make your actual answers a little longer for the test! my teacher has taught us that at least 2-4 sentences per a, b, or c is best!
APUSH STUDENTS. I am not very good at studying, not was I very good at the class AP US History in 2017. In fact, I did not even receive initial “permission” to be placed in APUSH, I had to write a letter and ask to be in the class. Also I was lazy all year and had some of the lowest test grades in the class. ALL I DID to study is watch these unit videos about 5 times each until I practically had them memorized. And also the Full review video on this channel. I got a 4 whilst many of my classmates who did better in the class got 2s and 3s. Adam Norris VIDEOS ARE THE KEY!!!!
Thank you so much you are a blessing upon this earth! I'm so thankful we live in an age where we have free and easy access to amazing videos like this. You rock Mr. Norris! Keep it up!!
Incredibly helpful videos. I started studying around a week before the test with these videos and my notes, and the exam was a breeze. I knew all the correlations between major historical events that I needed to know. I've been sharing these with the 2018-19 students already.
Gosh there are so many facts which makes it hard to pull them out of your brain, put them on the paper coherently, and explain why things happened as well as using outside information... Thanks for the video, these are going to make my junior year slightly less painful with 3 AP classes!
SAQ ANSWERS!? a) One reason for European exploration was the desire to spread religion, particularly Christianity. This is highlighted by the Spanish Encomienda system, in which one of the goals was to spread Christianity and change the Natives’ view on the world. b) One impact of European exploration on the Americas was the spread of diseases such as smallpox. This resulted in massive amounts of Native American death, simply by making contact with the European explorers. c) One impact of European exploration on Europe was the shift from feudalism to capitalism in Europe powered by the significant amount of resources and trade spurred by the discovery of the Americas, and subsequent colonization.
It's the week before the exam, and I have just started to study. Im so nervous that Im not going to pass, however these videos give me some home. thanks. I'm going to miss you next year.
you are literally the reason I knew everything on my DBQ (2020 exam anyone?). My teacher didn't teach us and I took the exam with just the knowledge that you taught, and I'm confident I got a 5 or 4. THANK YOU!!
I really was a fool thinking I was done with APUSH after sophomore year... Here I am, back again a year later tryna prep for the SAT subject test smh. At least ur vids helped me land a 5 on the ap exam tho

One reason for European exploration was to find a brew water route to Asia. The trade there was very lucrative so many European powers wanted to be the first to find it. One impact of European exploration on the America’s was bringing over the diseases and epidemics they had in England. This ravished the Native American population since they had no prior immunity like the Europeans. One impact that European exploration had on Europe was the introduction of new crops. This transformed European diets since the crops from the new world like potatoes and maize had more nutrients packed inside.
