Great ideas and I agree trying to minimize homework is a goal since most of our students do a full day of a school and have extracurricular activities and or jobs. I’m going to start building in time for students to not just discuss questions but to hand write a summary
I hate being in a lecture with 200 other people. I wish everyone but a select few including myself would drop out so I can essentially have the professors all to myself. Like, okay, tell me about Emperor Justinian and Roman Law, just let me participate so I don't fall asleep.
Wow, watching how hard teachers are trying to prepare for our classes make me feel weird lol.
Why
@@Cvstillo77 I just feel like I should work harder to impress them but I am just not that good yet.
@@mr.p8922 how old are you and what grade are you in? I’m curious.
@@Cvstillo77 Grade 11, 16 years old.
@@Cvstillo77 Are you a teacher?

Active recall is also incredibly useful, I believe
I believe you are correct...
These are really great ideas to make connections.
Is there a specific technique to do these summaries?
Great suggestions...thanks Steve!!!
Heimler's my homie, thanks heimler!

What resources can I use to know what’s on the test, and how do Ik what’s rly important when reading the text book
Hi Steve, just curious do you assign the notecards for reading the text? After you lecture? (If you lecture)
1st quarter's finished & by those months, I still haven't studied none.
RIP Headphone users 😂

I want to teach my teachers how to teach me now 😭😭

Just to be clear. This is getting better grades, not studying for learning.
