The heat press is 25 degrees off so keep that in mind when using it… If your temperature calls for 300 put the temperature to 325… Also you will need two heating mats to get the right amount of pressure.. One heating mat most jobs will not come out right.. There’s a slight gap between the plates when closed that gives you uneven pressure with one mat.. Through trial and error I got the autopress working to perfection… I hated the machine at first now I love it!!
Hi. Porsha, l love your videos. This was extremely helpful. I just got my circuit heat press and have not used it much , now I know what I can, cannot do. Looking forward to more from you . Thanks for sharing.
Hi Porcha, your findings are fairly similar to another review I was just watching. They also used a temperature heat gun to measure the accuracy of the heat and it varied 30 degrees cooler than what the Cricut autopress claimed and the pressure was best in the middle so it is not you. You did great. I enjoy your videos. Thanks again for posting.
It's possible. I was able to press a photo rock slate on a regular heat press w/o using a green pad... so that led me to think it was about being able to adjust the pressure. So the jury is still out.
I think it will. Since we can control the temperature on the Autopress it shouldn't be any different from using a regular press. I'd say test perhaps a 2x2 square to be certain. Beat wishes ✨️
hi Porcha do you think we can make the ceramic coaster with the auto press. I've have one but haven't seen anyone stating it works. have you tried it? let me know thanks
I haven't tried a ceramic coaster yet. I'm thinking being able to adjust the pressure maybe necessary for those type of items... or using a green pad to help disburse the heat maybe be helpful with this type of press.
I’m sorry I’m still stuck on the fact that you said grand baby!!!! You look like a baby yourself oh my goodness! Thanks for the great review super helpful

Thanks for taking the time to share your discoveries!
I actually liked the way the glass photo block looked. She's so cute. The background looks antiqued.
Thank you!
Very helpful video. Thank you for helping those of us sitting on the fence about buying this press.
Love the video, will be looking at more of them.

Hi Porcha, Do you think adding a green pad on top of the ceramic tile and the glass block would have helped to distribute the heat better?
It's possible. I was able to press a photo rock slate on a regular heat press w/o using a green pad... so that led me to think it was about being able to adjust the pressure.

Love the bag where do you creat your design
Thanks! I use Canva for most of my designs.
Hello Porsha, do you think screen press transfer sheets will do well with the auto press? Thank you!
I think it will. Since we can control the temperature on the Autopress it shouldn't be any different from using a regular press. I'd say test perhaps a 2x2 square to be certain. Beat wishes ✨️

I mean where did you create your design and how you did it
I watched someone who says with things like the tile, remove the cricut mat and use a nomax pad instead
Ah ok, thanks. I want to try the tile again and I'm hoping for better results.

You are so welcome!
