I pulled the trigger this morning!!!! My main reason is the ability to move and store if needed. I craft in my bedroom and I’m quickly running out of space. I also have arthritis in both hands and my back. I think this press will be a lifesaver for me.
Thank you for all the videos on the new Auto Press. The feature that appeals most to me is that it can press items up to 2 inches with even pressure. That would be very useful for thick slate photo slabs, canvases, and other items that you tested. Also for sublimation projects as many require longer press times, and consistent pressure.
Thank you Angie for giving us this review. I have several easy presses but when I do a lot of pressing my shoulder is hurting so bad. I can’t wait to get the AutoPress. 🥰
Angie, you do a fantastic job of laying out all the options for anyone that is interested in or has questions about purchasing an AutoPress. Your presentation and camera presence is really, really good … concise and clear. I currently do not own any press at all but recently purchased my first Cricut Maker machine (still in the box) and plan on extending my crafting. Was trying to decide on a flatbed press or the other Cricut press machines so your video has helped me to know what to consider before purchasing. Thank you for your videos.
Hsn has it on craft day. May 3. The main reason I’m going to buy it is my hands. I have and swing away. I’ve only used it one. I have Psoriasis arthritis and other hand problems. This should help with the pain.
I just got one for Christmas from my Husband !! Apparently he was listening when I showed him they were on sale during Black Friday, but we weren’t able to buy one at that time…(so I thought 😊)..I wanted one so bad! I told him that was the lowest price I have ever seen! I totally forgot about it !!I I got one yesterday from him!!❤ I am so happy I can’t wait to use it❤❤❤❤
Angie I love you videos as a matter of fact…I enjoy them….you speak so well of the Cricut Products and it lets me know whether to buy or not. I don’t have a big business but on some occasions I press over 300 t shirts therefore, it is for ME!!! Thanks
Thank you Angie. Your videos are so helpful. I already have a full time job that is very physical, so I do appreciate when things are not as laboring on my body. I just received my autopress and love it. Now and again I make totes and shirts. This will open up my world. It is also cool to the touch. I really like that.
As always, a very informative series of videos Angie! You’ve answered all the questions I had about the Autopress. Price is the only thing holding me back on this purchase. In Canada the price is $1,299 before tax. With their highest priced item so far, I’m surprised Cricut doesn’t offer the option to buy an extended warranty on this press. Thanks again for doing such a great job for your subscribers!
Thanks for your videos. always learning from them. The price was a little shocker but actually ordered it with a bundle. Have a lot of ideas and projects where I feel it will pay for itself in little to no time.
Angie! I adore you!!! This was just the video I needed! Thanks 👏🏻 I’m going back to rewatch all the previous videos. I’m having a hard time making a decision.
Angie, thank you for your review. It is definitely something to think about, especially depending on how it will be utilized. Love the features on the Autopress. Who knows...maybe Cricut will come out with a smaller version for various reasons. Appreciate your videos, again Thank You!
I have not used my large easy press in over 1 1/2 years as for health reasons I can’t lift it or feel confident lifting it. The auto press is a no-brainer for me as I want to still be able to craft! Soooo excited 😊
Angie I like this machine because I have bad arthritis as well but I’m still waiting for your video with sublimation on a canvas but a lamination sheet
Its just became available in the UK.. yesterday...thank you so much for the review, and after looking at alternatives, I have decided to buy it...placing my order soon..very excited to use it..I also use the cricut maker, and subliminal printer (Epson L805 reconfigured)thanks for the you tube guide for this too. I also have a laser engraver, so this is going to help so much with our small business (2 of us) and going forward..only part time so far...keep up the excellent reviews..
Just wow. If this was 500 cheaper, I might buy it. But you can get a traditional brand name for a quarter of the price. Thx for the info though! Love your content!
Hsn will be having it as their today's special on Tuesday May 3rd as it's there craft day. I hope the price is right because I have a small space and that would be perfect.
This would be perfect for me, I'm disabled and can only use one hand and traditional presses are hard to open and close and easy presses are hard to lift and hold in place/apply enough pressure. Gonna have to wait for it to get lower in price though. Great review!
I still just can't get over the cost of this machine. I'm going with a traditional heat press. Maybe if they bring the price down I will get it in the future.
@@AngieHolden thank you. I watch a lot of your videos and appreciate all the time you spend testing out products etc. Just beginning this route of creations. Still I am confused on which heat press to purchase. Not a business, just someone who wants to create things for her family and few friends- t-shirts, tumblers etc for fun. Though I am highly considering selling some items in the future at some of my author events etc where the proceeds go to helping local veterans (hubs and I are both veterans too). All the technology is a lot to learn and honestly my brain is fried from learning various different things about the cricut maker 3 and Cameo 4 (I do have both). I am looking for easy set up, good quality and has support if needed thoughts on which heat press and separate tumbler press (up to 30oz plus) would be best specifically for me?
Loved this video SO helpful, as I am thinking of getting an AutoPress and using Supacolor at the moment... I was also wondering if you think Supacolor would work with a mini easypress when using it on something like jewelry cases? Thank youuuu!!
I do a fair bit of slate and I have a pneumatic 16x20 press, that is a huge beast and discontinued but it works really well. It allows me to wrap the color on the edges nicely. I assume this press will not do the same? I would be looking for a backup machine but what concerns me is I do not find it very large at 12x15 and many of my acrylic pieces would take up the entire platen. Can you measure please and tell me if the platen is a true 12x15? Have you taken a heat gun to the entire platen? is it consistent? Thank you for all that you do. I rarely watch anyone online but do watch you. I find it is hard to trust reviews online and that's not only with Cricut but all products. Too many influencers that tote the company line. Makes it very difficult for the consumer.
I did slate here: ruclips.net/video/SgmYjchHYFA/видео.html The platen is 12 x 15 but it is rounded on the edges so you don't get a true 12 x 15. I haven't done any heat gun tests though!
Hi Angie - I've seen a few videos that when HTV is pressed on the Autopress, there's been adhesive that spills out of the letters and the design is NOT pressed into the shirt because they could feel the letters raised somewhat compared to a standard clamshell where the letters felt like they were part of the material. It may be due to pressure which is a problem as you know it can't be adjusted in Cricut. Also, if a pressing pillow was put in a shirt do you think there would be more pressure and the HTV would've came out much better? When you press HTV, you said your results are good. Are the letter pressed into the material well and do you see any adhesive that has spilled out? I'm trying to figure out what would cause that. I wonder if Cricut can adjust stuff if there are enough issues in their software updates?
I have been driving myself crazy researching heat presses. I live in Canada so many options in the US cannot be purchased. I would prefer a clamshell due to space in my craft room. I also have a 9 year old granddaughter who loves to craft with me and I want to make sure I get a safe machine as I do not want to her to get hurt. The cricut autopress looks very safe as long as we make sure not to be overtop of it when it auto opens. Is there any other machine available in Canada that I can compare it to? At $1300 it is an investment and as a retired buyer I always need to get at minimum two prices before purchasing anything.
I have the Autopress and am a bit concerned. I mostly use 100% cotton t-shirts and every day iron on. However there is often one tiny part that needs re-pressing to not peel off. Should I increase the time or the heat to solve this? Or press from the back like you do with the easy press?
@@AngieHolden thanks. That I do. I’m actually sewing a t-shirt right now and will consider all the possibilities when it comes to the pressing. Fingers crossed!
I don't think this is for me as I haven't into doing HTV. You did answer a lot of questions I had in the other videos for this machine. If I do decide to get one I'll go through and watch the videos again.
