I like your review, i see that the review is very honest, nothing is perfect but this console x7 is a excellent option for enjoy retro games, thank you so much.
I got it off Ali express for 20$, never played any Nintendo DS or anything like that but it’s really cool
I'm not 100%, but I've seen a lot of Genesis roms exported as "BIN", so I think that's what it accepts. I could be wrong though, and I don't have this anymore to test with sadly.
I rename all of my .md files into .bin and they worked, sort of
I have one that looks just like this one. So just to be clear I cant be sure it is the exact same one ...but looking at everything from the the video, box, name (mp5 X7), and even the shape...so i think it is the same one.
I have had bad luck getting the SNES games to run good but i have had decent luck with the PS1 games. THe PS1 games that i have tried are all 2d though except Resident Evil 1. The PS1 roms it runs well for me are Capcom vs SNK, Castlevania-Symphony of the Night, Marvel vs Capcom- Clash of Heroes, and Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Does anyone have Super Mario World that runs quicker?
mine seems slow on snes and fine with PS1 2d games

And NO. What I've really been looking for is a portable device like this that can:
1. Read text files. (Just TXT is fine).
2. Play music (Preferably WMA9-VB10).
3. Play video (preferably MKV standard, what Handbrake encodes by default).
4. Play Super Nintendo. (preferably ZIPPED), ability for Load/Save State.
If it does these things (and it looks like it does calculator as a bonus), then I will be very happy with it.
Now you mentioned, RGVX, that NES does NOT have save-state ? Were you checking with a USA game for that ?
Sorry, no idea on screen resolution but plays upto 720p video
Turned it off then back on, power light comes on but it's just a black screen, nothing happens.

Don't have it plugged in, take the USB out and turn it off then on again. It usually works for me :)

Hi, could you tell me why the Roms I put onto this console mostly play too fast? I have the same set of Roms that I put on others and they play fine it's just this console! I can't seem to find the answer anywhere so any help would be great thanks. Nice review and video by the way :)

Yes, and these are a bit cheaper. Took it to work last night, some of the guys were enjoying playing it (wiped between uses before anybody says it lol)

ps1 can work? you have like rom download
Step 1.- download the iso
Step 2.- open the .7z
Step 3.- move the Track 1.bin in console folder
Step 4.- in the console open the game file
Ready, you play a playstation 1 (but games without LR triggers and right joystick)

Hi, As you said it does not run master system (SMS), I tried to convert from Master system (SMS) to GBA and it still did not run. Is there any way to get Master system games to run in this console? Thank you very much.
The os is poor. Also noticed that the save game option won't work.
Does anyone know if you can flash Lakka or something to it? I tried one method earlier (unsuccessfully) and can't find any guides online so either trial and error until I find something that works or one of you lovely people can tell me if there's a way to replace the OS.

I’ve got a different main menu screen on mine and you can’t set charge and play on the system. When I plug it into my computer it just keeps saying usb connecting. Why is this?
Possibly a faulty one I'd contact the supplier.

You can't change the main screen.
New firmware can, and in fact it looks more like its PLUS counterpart.

I find a weird frame skip with GBA games. The music 'loop point' is wrong. Also some games slow right down when you're in a place with lighting or 3D effects. It is playable though with the music off but it works best with NES and BIN format megardrive games. Also some of the games are named wrong. Sonic 2 is called '3D blasting sound wave' 😂 Obviously a bad translation.

Bought one, the X7 plus....it's crap, to be fair, if you like sonic the hedgehog then you might be ok for a couple of hours, no camera on mine. The multi media side of it is pretty useless. It might be alright for a kid but you'd be just as well downloading and emulator on your phone. Save your money

new firmware runs snes just fine.
And replaces PS1 with CPS1 in the menus. So, it was a typo all along.

Took just under 5 weeks to arrive, may take longer with present conditions though. Arrived the day after I self isolated, which was nice.

No, you only have 3.5mm audio out and usb for charge or data transfer.
Yoi can buy this on temu for 30. I got the 250 games in one cartiage for 9 bucks and play it everyday on my ds xl i love it
@waindoah4197 the 250 games in one is the best thing every dragon quest every pokemon game including every ranger game and a mystery dungeon. Fire emblem ace attorney okamiden just get if you have a ds system you will not be disappointed if you love ds games. Look up 250 in one ds games
