You can see theyre not aggressive dogs! Same as the rottweilers in the first Omen where Donner is on record saying they were suposed to bring him vicious snarling hounds of hell but all they wanted to do was hugs and nuzzling.

The fact that they are all beagles just makes this scene funnier and cuter.
Beagles are some of the most non-aggressive dogs there is and is perfect family dogs because of it.
The reason they are used as hunting dogs is not because they are aggressive but because of their powerful nose and distinct howl.
They are English Foxhounds, not Beagles.
Let me tell you something my friend, an uncle of my mother had pure bred hunting beagles that lived in a nice warm outdoor enclosure that was more than comfortable but they were not house pets. They lacked socialization with other dogs or with people other than my my mothers uncle and wife and they were some of the nastiest dogs you ever saw. There were as many as four of them at one time and I pity the Rottweiler house dog that ever made the mistake of getting close to them.
I agree with Joan Milton. There is a complete difference between the English Foxhounds and the Beagles. The English Foxhounds are taller than the Beagles. They're impossible to miss.
I think those are Foxhounds, friend. Easily mistaken for Beagles. They have slightly longer legs.

In fairness to the dogs that guy did have a pound of sausages in his back pocket.
The screams in the older films were so much more dramatic
I just discovered that Jerry Goldsmith is also original Disney's Mulan's composer and I'm speechless. I always loved The Omen's and Mulan's soundrack and I never knew it was the same person behind it. What a talented man Mr. Goldsmith is! What a Master! It's incredible how a real human being can make something as good, when you hear The Omen's soundtrack it really feels like you're watching Satan. Those movies are masterpieces.
Damien could easily play Dr. Grant in Jurassic Park.

This was my favourite scene in the entire film. The film itself was a dissapointing finale to the trilogy, however the music was just as epic as the first film, just amazing.
If I were to choose one death from The Omen for myself then it would be this. The chance to have lots of lovely hounds nibbling me. Cute

Some good special features for THE FINAL CONFLICT. Enjoyed the commentary with the religious history and influences and the information from director and screenwriter and production assistant.
pretty cool scene a word of advice though when you see a fellow priest bucked off a horse cause its scared of damiens power and there are alot of daogs around him get back in the car and go

A lot of people are saying this isn’t frightening because they are beagles. to me that is what made this frightening. The fact that a breed of dog thought of as cuddly and cute is ripping this guy apart and eating him alive. And the way he said take him in such a casual almost bored way.
I know Damien's mom was a dog but THESE dogs would never listen to Satan.

This is a movie where Satan can fucking control animals to do things outside of normal. There's literally a part of the movie where he made a mother kill her own baby.
