"And some people dress up like a prince." UWAH! I would love to visit Harujuku one day. Their fashion is so unique. And I love all the styles. Visual Kei! ^_^ Japan, here I come! "Hajimemashite!"
I have been loving japanese fashion since I've was 12. I was in to decora at that time. But now I feel mix match diffrent fashion styles. I love the young ppl fashion better than the fashion style we have in norway. I wish we had clothing stores they have in harajuku and shibuya in Norway :(
Awsome! Det är läskigt, nästan alla jag pratarmed på youtube visar sig vara svenska 0.o Vet du någonting om nån lolita träff? Jag vill väldigt gärna gå på en T.T
hahahahhahahaha ME TOO!!! hahahahahah i was like deffinately princes!!! hahahahaha and the Bou cosplayer's costum looked exactly the same O.o i wana be able to make clothes like that hahahaha
@rabbit0877 Right on target. These clothes, especially the punk style, is hella expensive. A simple v neck shirt with a design on it costs at least 6000 yen, which is around 70 dollars. For me, the punk style looks the best, but not from Tokyo but from Osaka. They have a unique style that is very cool and the atmosphere there is very straight forward, unlike Tokyo which people are colder towards strangers.
@SceneQueenPrincess i think only when they go hang around with friends in parks etc xD. Although I saw a girl in harajuku style walking into my new school in Holland O.o
I live in Sweden and go to a normal shool and I am a sweet lolita. Let me tell you something, if you don´t care what everyone thinks, they won´t either...^^ First day I wore it, evreyone stared but I got compliments from the most of them(including teachers) I also got one or two bad comments. But everyone gets bad comments sometimes. Don´t let others hold you back, be who you want to be, stop caring! ; )
@coolwHip000 It would be so cool to see guys and girls wearing these outfits, 2 years ago i began to see people in this outfits at my hometown(Bogotá, Colombia, South America)and they're really cool, even so, that I already go to their events and meetings in cosplay(american comics superheroes).Maybe some day at your country some guys and girls will choose to going out to the streets wearing those outfits, and they will enjoy that as I in my country.
:) not quite. :) it's spelled デコラ and デ is pronounced like the English word "day" if you were to romanize the word (put it in English letters) it's spelled decora. same as DECORAtion. :D the "Di" sound in Japanese is difficult to make, so it generally sounds more like a funny variant of "chi" ;)
From what I hear, some of the wilder Harajuku fashions get picked at over there too. In fact for a lot of people, they only dress like that on Sundays. (Someone of higher knowledge please correct me if I just spit bullshit everywhere.)
what I wanna know is how much cash these kids are throwing down on clothes?? The fashions, although gaudy and outlandish, don't look cheap. I'm thinking either mommy and daddy provide the funds or these people do rack up the credit card bills.
3 feckin 'alphabets' ... 1 down and 2 to go and then just the language itself before i can go and be free ! this is gonna take a while :( damn country ... too good :( lol.

Harajuku is one place you don't feel stupid no matter how bad you dressed up because everyone else does the same. ^_^

I like this feed, but I got super irritated when I heard him say "Hair-uh-jku." It's not that hard to pronounce Japanese correctly. "Hahra-juku." T_T
