LTG Stephen J. Townsend led soldiers of the XVIII Airborne Corps Headquarters and HHC into Fort Bragg's Pax Shed One to celebrate their return from southwest Asia. He addressed family and troops upon landing of the final aircraft returning from a 13 month deployment. LTG Townsend served as the Commanding General of the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve from 21 August 2016 until 5 September 2017.
