I was actually deployed to the Craig Hoint Theater Hospital in Bagram from San Antonio Texas but I never got to go to Camp Bullis and I never had higher-ranking officers like in this video. I guess the Air Force went through some leadership and empathy training. But I miss the uniform and opportunities like this. Whether you like it or not, you do gain a tremendous amount of confidence in your roles as healthcare providers from serving in regions like this!

I'm extremely thankful to all of these surgeons and Drs and nurses.. and our military... when I was an infant. age of 9 months. my dad and I were in a car train accident. I lost both my legs. a knee disarticulation and a hip disarticulation. This was back in 1974. What's saved my life was what was learned from all of the wartime Trauma...from Korea and Vietnam. by the doctors and surgeons. So when the Wars ended... all the knowledge was all passed on. And it made these Hospital trauma units better. So really from the bottom of my heart I thank every military Drs and surgeons and nurses. And Every Soldier. But especially the surgeons... because I wouldn't be alive today without creative ways they came up with to the treat wounds in the battlefield. Thank you
