Good job been driving for 12 years just got a interview for a really good job had to a recap it’s not like anybody do this anyway once u get the license lol I do check tires and lights though

I've been driving since 2013, When I left NETTTS and passed my road test. When I was done I went over the road and actually did a pre trip daily. Once I became a local driver it seemed like almost no one bothered but I felt like I needed a recap and this video is great

Nice man. I'm a rookie to your channel. Great content. I ordinarily went to Nettts (Pawtucket RI location) back in 2011. Had a great memorable experience and did complete the course withal didn't ontain my Class-A because during that era Nettts was promoting that OTR was the only option, a pre-requisite for a good local position. In conjunction my wife was pregnant with our son- going OTR wasn't an option. Alongside my thinking process wasn't what it is today. Time passed and I recently completed trucking school and finally obtained my Class-A license. I did find a local position! Different era. Much success to you brother.

There is a disclaimer in the comment section warning of the missing steps, "Assisting the inspector", it should be towards the end of the paper instructions assigned to you or in the comment section under disclaimer. I have been meaning to stop and practice maneuvers at the NETTTS in Bridgeport and potentially recording the Pre-trip Brake Check, (no promises though). I haven't been in a truck since mid October 2019. My channel also has "Under The Hood / Engine Compartment". The rest of the content is related to experiences with Werner Enterprise. The license is already in your pocket, stay safe.

*** Disclaimer *** Please note, there are specific steps missing.
Missing Step: Glad Hands and Electrical Line are properly connected.
Missing Steps: The inspector tells you "I will assist you" at which point you
(1) Re-enter the cab
(2) Turn the engine on
(3) Release Tractor & Trailer Breaks
(4) Place transmission on reverse; your reverse lights will turn on
(5) Wait 1.. 2.. 3... the inspector will give you a thumbs up
(6) Place transmission back in neutral
(7) Hold down service break; your break lights will turn on
(8) Wait 1.. 2.. 3... the inspector will give you a thumbs up
(9) APPLY BOTH TRACTOR & TRAILER BREAKS
(10) Turn engine off; place key in the on position to supply electricity
(11) Turn on Right Turn Signal, exit cab, go to front and go around truck from Right Side
(12) Re-enter cab, turn on 4-Way Flashers, exit cab, go to front and go around truck from Right Side
(13) On your way around PICK UP YOUR CHOCK BLOCKS and re-enter the cab
(14) Shut the truck completely off, the inspector will enter cab and will ask for your maneuvers.
(15) Goodluck!

@@intuitivebreach8969 here in ct they are not allowed so be careful. I get this was years age so if your watching now some things may have changed but generally the same
In ct do you do in cab pre trip on test first then do exterior ? At my ct school they want left directional on and habeams on when u get out to do exterior pre trip but I'm not sure if truck should be running or just on accessory on mode.
Bridgeport, CT had me do the in cab inspection first, engine compartment second, and walk around third.
it would be nice take it to autobody shop brush off all rusts re prime it repainted every where. do one truck at a time.
Man every video dose it in different pattern one guy on last went from frunt to under hood
When I took the test in Bridgeport, CT. I went from In-Cab inspection, to Under the hood, and lastly I close the hood and walk to the front of the tractor and began the walk around inspection.
