So the picture of Pat from this show Dave had on the Times Like Those special must’ve been taken while a yellow light was on Pat because it looks like Pat was wearing an orange shirt but clearly it was actually green
I was at that concert. Absolutely amazing. What they don’t show is that the his is on the bottom floor two stories down, and there were people lined around the banisters on the above two floors. So from the pit floor, where I was at, you could look up during say “For All the Cows” and see rings of people above you losing there shit along with all the energy from dancing on that bottom floor. It was amazing. Too grainy to tell, but I’m somewhere in 11:51
I still remember that day! I was up on that 2nd floor against the banisters because I worked for the company and the entire floor could be felt moving. We all thought the store would cave in but it was amazing.

Well the key is diff. she's a girl. But hey after the first line she was able to find the key. Also, nerves played a big part. If it were me, there might be no voice coming out of my mouth. LOL! Better yet I'd just faint.
I guess you could say 96 was the last great year of music. I used to say 95 but performances like these were still happening in 96. Except that the punk scene was pretty cool with the Warped Tour & Tony Hawk games in the late 90's/early 00's but mainstream rock was already dead.
@@kpt.beyond819 it's easier to learn someones song and play it well then make up your own things and put it on a record. thats why william got the boot.
Yes exactly what Richie said. That’s Dave’s drumming your hearing. It’s just someone else who could perform the part. Every time they discuss William it simply sounds like he just couldn’t deliver when it came to writing. It wasn’t that Dave was a control freak, that’s fake news. If you ask me Taylor isn’t that great of a writer either. Dave in my opinion should of just wrote the drums/recorded on every album and kept William. he hits way harder than Taylor and sounds more equivalent to Dave’s hard hitting. I just don’t think William would’ve accepted that.
bringing the power and thunder during a set where energy is #1 is a totally different scenario than being under the microscope of recording. having one doesn't equate to the other, unfortunately
Dave's hair looks awesome here
Hey, I found me!! At 16:45 there are two dudes in white shirts. I’m the one on the right bouncing like a doofus with my back back on one shoulder.

Ha I was there too! I’m the dude at the end with the Florida marlins hat kissing my girl at the tine

Their best lineup, in my honest opinion
I used to really like them back then.
Young Dave is so cute
who says he isn't anymore?
wattershed is such an awesome track! raw, fast, fierce and punkish

0:57 STICK IT TO THE WAH-WAH
I wonder if Amber’s band ever took off.
Pat put her in a chokehold after she sang so hopefully she's recovered from that and got musical
Anyone know her full name?
Just loved watching this .. Amazing
Imagine calling this nirvana, now that's basically what Jerry did with AIC making William the singer.

From a punk song to big me... nice lmao. Not many can do that drastic switch
Dave Grohl with Kurt Cobain energy
Kurt rubs off on everything and everyone
Early Cobain energy.
Cobain really didn't have much energy a short bit after Dave joined the band.
je me souviens à l'époque c'était passé en direct sur fun radio !
C'est vrai, mais juste la première moitié (jusqu'à "I'll Stick Around" inclus) et avec un son bien plus crade qu'ici :)

That wasn't a bad drummer at all.
William is a great drummer. He didn't deserve what happened to him. Dave was a control freak and wasn't ready to give up being a drummer at that time.
@@AaronStark1993 Can't belive the producer of TCATS said Nate and William wouldn't be a good rythm-section. At least not if you see this.
