Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

I love that kitty took the time to show her how to be better. The show loves to paint Kitty as being mean and hard on the girls but they rarely show her giving constructive criticism

Jackie and Mia are among those rare few where their inner beauty is just as (if not more) captivating and radiant as their outer beauty. Little Black girls have the ultimate role model in those two. That’s why representation matters!

For me its between Nicole Hamilton and Jenna Jackson. They had the best style.
I hope in the future they they will get more footage on every girl so we can see their performances and celebrate their careers. I wish in Mia's journey that they would have showed more dance performances and her dancing more as the point. Mia has it. So talented!!!
I wish they'd showed when she got chosen as center point for the triangle.
At this time the announcement of point of the triangle wasn't filmed. They only started making a big deal out of the point announcement much later on.

Love this video. Mia is everything I would imagine a DCC would be. She's a great dancer, fun, bubbly, sweet and beautiful. Really fun to watch!
I agree! She is someone that deserves everything she got with the dcc and I hope she is still doing amazing. She is definitely a person that you want to be friends with

I love that we finally get another video about a cheerleader of color. But it's pretty obvious that the earlier seasons mostly ignore the WOC. That's why we get shorter and fewer videos about them. The past can't be changed, but in the future, PLEASE give equal attention to the women of color -- they deserve it!

About time. If you watch all of season 4, there was more footage of Mia as a rookie and more when she was a veteran as well in seasons 5-8). This could have been better (more footage of Mia) but I'm glad they finally showed her. She was such a strong dancer and was wonderful as point of the triangle.
Judy in that purple dress towards the end is just STUNNING she is such a beautiful woman

It’s kinda frustrating when they give the girls who have only made the team for their first year more time than 4-5 year vets. They just skipped to her 5th year! I would love to see more of Mia! She’s beautiful

Wow look at how far Mia has come. This right here is what DCC is all about. Its about growth and progress. Mia went from getting called into the office to point of the triangle and even after that she was brought back as a mentor for future DCCs. That speaks volumes. Mia really broke down the door for black girls on this show. Mia crawled so Kat, Chandi, Armani, Jada, Sydeny, Ashlee, Briana could run. A true definition of started from the bottom now we're here.

@@Dcc333 We aren't talking about the 80s. We're talking about the show. This new generation of DCCs grew up watching this show. They don't know the DCCs of the 80s. This show has been on the air for a decade and a half. These girls grew up watching this show and they will relate to the DCCs who were on the show. That would be girls like Nicole Hamilton, Mia, Jackie Bob. They started the show. They are the OGs. Ashlee said Nicole Hamilton was a huge influence on her. Kat said that seeing Jackie Bob on the show made her want to be a DCC.
No, Jackie Bob and Jaci walked so they could run. Jackie and Jaci has always been vocal about being a rep for black girls I dont recall Mia ever being a "I want to represent for black girls" type of black girl unless I missed those episodes
Too bad about her sister. I hope there wasn't any bad blood between them over her making it and her sister not.

I love Mia but I’ve always felt bad for her sister. She tried out 3 times and her younger sister gets on it her first try. Hopefully that didn’t cause any animosity between the sisters

@@EmVee. I wish Amanda didn't leave. Amanda was point but it is what it is. It was her choice.
Not released. Daphne left due to an injury. Amanda left allegedly due to not wanting to get the shots in order to be on the field.

I LOVE and appreciate Nicole, Jena and Mia but let's be real.. they arent pro black girls they are the black girls u would find in an all white sorority its like Kelli, Judy and the DCC organization go after certain types of black girls.. and most of the black girls who make the squad in general would not be seen at a black girl magic convention and before anyone starts I've been on their social media accounts most of the black girls who make the squad dont deal with black people much smh. Jackie, Jacie, Kat and Sydney are literally few of the actual pro black cheerleaders they've had they actually speak on wanting to be reps for black girls smh
