It's Emily Nicole in all fairness though this is an opportunity for them that doesn’t come along every day, so if I were one of them I’d leave early enough to probably arrive at least 30+ minutes in advance just in case. I’m sure they’re all under a ton of stress though so I do empathize.

By starting the car and going around to check that all of your lights work properly... Your car, your responsibility.. This is something that you're supposed to do on a regular basis!!!
@@h06anbjo but no one does. It's hard to check break lights when your alone. That's why I was late to my first day of work... I was yelled at for 30 minutes... break lights a tail lights can go out at any time. And leaveing really really doesn't always help either... I left 2 hours to get to the airport ...because I left early, I was only able to take one route...that route has a 7 vehicle pile up. I never made that flight. But if a left at the right time, other routes would have been opened. So being late is just going to happen.

@@bryanhernandez5049 From what I've heard, minimum wage at best. Sometimes their hour is worth less than minimum wage if you factor in practice time. They also have to pay for hair/makeup/nails on their own.
They make about $150 for every home game

I felt bad for the poor girl who they took all her extensions out and essentially left her looking like her hair got hacked. You notice they didn’t show her on the final reveal. I would dieee!

I thought it looked awesome. It was a big change from what she had but it turned out looking really fun & edgy on her.

Cheyanne Pena There were several blondes, and at least one redhead. I really liked the darker red outcome, but keeping it that color is challenging because red fades FAST.
Only one I liked was the natural curly hair...
That was absolutely hideous! Does not fit her face at all. Curls are not her style. This whole show is an absolute mess, all the ‘hair stylist’ are nuts and have no idea what they’re doing. I should know, my mother has crazy curls. Just use mousse for goodness sakes!
@@Stephanie-sc8xj No offense, but its people like you that make it so hard for people like us with curly/wavy hair to love and accept our natural hair. Her hair has been damaged for long time. That's prob why her curls weren't perfect or "hideous" as you like to put it. It would be great if you could show some support for the process. With more love and care, her her curls could look healthy and beautiful. Most stylists default is to straighten away curly hair. This is first time I've ever seen on a show the opposite. To me that was refreshing. We should applaud this change. I recently discovered my own wavy/curly hair. Just to let you know, it's not as easy as using some "mousse". If it was I'm sure the thousands of curly haired ladies on FB support groups would love your advice.

Right?!!! They acted like they were curing cancer in that salon when all they did was banana curls and foils. Everyone basically had the same style in different lengths.
They were just trying to find a style that best fit the girls which means that the girls were doing pretty well to begin with.
I love how much kelli embraced natural curls instead of frying with a flat iron. That was nice to see

@Amélie Vouteau They are required to attend ALL rehearsals with a full face of makeup. If they show up to rehearsal with no makeup that's a serious problem. There was a particular episode where a training camp candidate came to rehearsal with no makeup on, Kelli pulled her to the side and asked her what's going on with your makeup today.

she said that because Dayton is actually that close to her. Dayton and Kelli's daughter are best friends since they were in diapers. Dayton's mom is one of Kelli's closest friends. She sees Dayton almost as her own daughter. It's quite easy to see why she doesn't want to be in the position of disciplining her like this.

Coming from an organization that had to be sued to increase hourly wage from less than minimum wage, they have some gall lecturing the girls about commitment. After a raft of lawsuits, it’s nice to see that most professional cheerleaders are now making $75,000 a year. Glad they stood up for themselves

Kelli is right for critiquing the girls about being late. My dance teacher was the same way. She always said “ if you’re not 15 minutes early, you’re late.” She reminded me of Kelli and was extremely hard on all of us, and expected perfection. But the lessons she taught us made us all successful in life, and that’s what she is doing for these girls too.
Yes. Your teachers chastising you for a normal human occurrence is the *single defining reason* why you have any iota of success. If your parents could afford dance lessons your whole life, then hun, hate to break or to you but your success came from privilege and I feel bad for you that you think being late is such a sin. She wasn’t talking about race diversity. I think she meant hairstyle/look diversity. But they did make some look similar. I don’t think we need to be so worried about diversity quotas, there are plenty of all black teams and dance squads. Etc.

You guys should take the lack of black girls in this video as a compliment because these are people who went from drab to fab. Most people don't know they have a tail light out because they're not standing in the back of their car when it's on.
Not everybody got money to repair a tail light, ESPECIALLY if they blowing all they money to be a DCC
i fixed my own tail light for $3.95. in california.
You can buy a bulb for dollars and replace it yourself instead of paying for the constant tickets you get for having it out.
Sheinas hair color is absolutely gorgeous. I have the same color naturally and it's hard to copy from a bottle so that's a big compliment to the hairstylist.

@@Lana_Daisy Probably because long straight hair is more socially acceptable, as most of the girls on the team have it. It is also usually easier to manage than our natural hair.
