As a teacher/coach, I can say that it's not every parent that understands that and a lot of them complain about significant adults (teacher, coaches...) being ''too hard'' on their kid. It's exhausting to be blamed.
I loved that too! I'm a mom who pushes my kids to be great. I don't coddle them but I support them in everything they do. I'm their biggest fan. And I have always taught them that losing is nothing more than an incentive to work harder. If it's something that they really want they're not going to quit. They will fight for it. I want them to have teachers and coaches who think the way I do. It prepares them for being successful, well rounded adults.

Agreed. I know there are shitty coaches out there, but majority of them are just fine. I had a shitty one (not in cheerleading though), who only accepted perfection and yelled and humiliated the kids who didn't perform perfectly in front of other kids and everyone who happened to be close by. She also used to cut practises short and just leave us there without any supervision if she got mad us not being good enough. Constructive criticsm was not a thing, she yelled and scared us till we cried or walked off after telling we're useless. Parents started pulling their kids out because we were on her watch and she left kids as young as 7 to be supervised by us older kids (I was 10). After that she cut the whole team because it was too small to her liking. The team was up for a year. She put us to our first conpetition after 2 months of most of us, especially the younger kids, being compelete beginners and got mad because we didn't win. Her old team of older kids she had to quit coaching was winning everything and she expected no less from us from the beginning. But seriously, if you want to be really good you have to work really hard and the coach has to push kids out of what they feel comfortable doing. I get the idea my coach had but she executed it completely wrong.
Thanks friend! Oddly enough a few weeks later was an episode where coach eddie was so frustrated because all the kids (except stace) were sitting. Look, he’s not perfect, but one thing he is, is a hard worker!! It’s been a GREAT experience 💙💙

They have so much talent, wouldn't it just be easier to have more world's teams? Or even an open level five team for people who don't quite have level 6 & 7 skills yet.

T n T is probably my favorite team now. And I'm loving the Champion wear. Also, Tara just doesn't work for me. Her lines aren't as clean as some others. It sucks that she was injured last season but she still needs to earn her spot and I don't feel that she has.
I've seen little glimpses of who I *believe* is Brookee from SMOED on TNT throughout the season, but I haven't heard anyone mention her on the show... 🤔

sally martin it really can be anyone, and normally it’s a combination of peoples imperfections that cause a stunt fall. but a base or backspot could cause a fall by having the wrong grips, throwing off time etc, and a flyer could cause a fall by not squeezing, unlocking her knee, etc, so it could go either way. a
Whatever the stunt is where they grab under their thigh looks terrible. They look sloppy. Not the athletes doing it but just the stunt in general. Whoever came up with that stunt.. it’s not pretty or cute. Looks like they are hunched over and picking a wedge out of their butts at the same time.

at least at my gym we could have more teams but there isnt enough coaches and not just anybody can coach worlds team

teams are hard to put together. u have to make sure the ratio to bases and flyers is good and if your a coed team u have the max amount of boys

you also have to remember there are other locations and you can't have the same level and division as another team that is a part of your gym

Smoed is a senior team so there is an age limit, but reckless is an open team so you just have to be over 14 :)
